Actually, he left Foxnews less than a year ago - it was last summer.

This article contains additional information about him having had health problems for years. Also, he just turned 77 this past Monday.

I was taught not to speak ill of the dead. Whatever did or didn't happen God will be the judge. He did a lot of good in his life , whatever else I will not be judging, he who us without sin.... Rip

Wow! So harsh! I may not have been his biggest fan, but I do have respect for the dead and especially their family.

He did some great things and met some very wonderful people through out his life.

He was instrumental in the cable news industry and definitely left his mark. But he was flawed as well. My condolences to his family... I have a feeling this thread isn't going to go last very long, though.

What "great" things did he do?

For me creating Fox News and meeting heads of state is some kind of life. Anyone who creates a business and provides jobs to a great many has done great things. But my opinion is not others.

Gosh, there are some really nasty twitters online about his passing. I think that's awful to do at this point in time, and very disrespectful to his family. Really not the time or place and IMO reflects badly on those doing the tweething.
