I have not seen anything on Internet about Johnny being broke. He can always sell his island in the Bahamas.

I don't think he's "broke" either but having legal issues with missing money and a fired manager.

I can't believe a fifth Pirates of the Carribean is due out later this month. Same cast of characters but this time with Paul McCartney as a jail guard. Sure to be popular with all the kiddies that's for sure. Did he get paid already for doing that movie?

What I have read indicates that he is broke. He has little knowledge of earnings vs profit, taxes, expenses and costs. He has spent lavishly on art, real estate, boats etc. He is accusing his managers (sounds like Nicholas Cage) of mismanagement and suing them. There is some discussion on the finer points of the legal and ethical issues of managers acting as lawyers and vice versa. As of now, he can not make his debt payments and is liquidating assets.

It is said he spends $2M a month including $35,000 for personal wine consumption and owns and maintains 17 residences all with full staff. Won't fly in anything but his own executive jet. When his accounts get low he claims he's being robbed. Sounds as though he's the problem.

Apparently during breaks in filming, Sir Paul kept singing "Can't Buy Me Love" to Depp

I'm probably in the minority here, but other than a few of his earlier movies, I've never been a fan of Johnny Depp.

Daniel Tosh the comedian did a small sketch on JD where he said 'cool has a cut off, Johnny Depp'. He joked about Johnny making people wait when they're on their way out, because he just had to put on another bracelet, and make sure that his handkerchief was askew, just so. LOL!

Even in the above pic, I can picture him carefully applying his eye liner & shadow for that smokey, sultry eye.
