      <description>&lt;P&gt;During the It Cosmetics show I heard Jacque say if your new to QVC you get $5 off your first order. I'm a long time loyal customer, where's my $5? The cable company does the same thing. New customers get the best deal. I'm with TWC, now Spectrum for almost 16 years. When my promo year is up I have to beg and stand on my head for them to finally do me the"favor" of allowing me to pay what I currently paid($200 a month). Why don't companies value their loyal customers?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I find it annoying too. It costs companies more to attract new business, but they refuse to give "incentive deals" to long-standing customers.&amp;nbsp; The only business that I have found that does give a "reward" of this type is a cable radio and news station that I subscribed to when it first started. My fee per year has stayed the same as when I joined, despite the increase in subscriber fees for new viewers/listeners.&amp;nbsp; I'd mention the name of it, but that would probably start a firestorm of nasty comments. For me it has been well worth the money, lots of great information, entertainment and history programs as well as comedies.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am not sure that it bugs me, but I do agree that loyal customers should be rewarded also. I do think that for a company this large making the kind of money they do a $5 incentive is laughable ..&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;KOHLS and Macys both send birthday coupons for $10 or $20 EVERY year during your birthday month. Plus Kohls sends you a gift for your Anniversary ( of the month you signed up for their card.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have platinum&amp;nbsp;status on the Sisley website and that comes with lots of wonderful perks including a free beauty&amp;nbsp;subscription each month.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I do think QVC would benefit by doing a similar customer loyalty&amp;nbsp;program. &amp;nbsp;Something that encourages repeat business and makes people feel special for being a loyal customer!&amp;nbsp;&lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It is about more than that. You can barely buy a cup of coffee for that now. It is the lack of most businesses doing "nice little things" to keep existing customers. I have called and requested the "sweetheart" deals that Mediacom or WOW gives new customers and never once have they given me the "new customer deal".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;To give you an idea:&amp;nbsp; WOW! gives new customers, cable with DVR and premium movie channels, internet&amp;nbsp;and phone for $99 for 2 years. I was paying $178/month for cable with no premium channels and no DVR,&amp;nbsp;internet and phone. I did call and the "best they could do was $168.&amp;nbsp; Not good at all. I canceled. Now all I have is internet.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I guess you either are very good at bargaining or they need to keep existing customers in your area. They don't in mine, we are a military town and there is a constant influx of new people. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;I haven't missed cable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I buy very little from QVC now, just things I know I want and wouldn't have to return. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
