      <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought two tops from Evine and returned both. The first one I used their return label which was $7.95.&amp;nbsp; The second one I returned on my own which cost $3.10. I added insurance which cost around $2.00.&amp;nbsp; I put these on value pay. The first installment for both items&amp;nbsp;was $25.80 including s&amp;amp;h plus tax. I received a refund of $7.77 for returning both items. Therefore, leaving a deficit of $18.03 which I stil need to pay. I have decided not to purchase items on shopping channels unless I am absolutely sure I will not have to return. This was a hard lesson to learn. I had to pay $18.03 just to look and try on these items.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Shopping channels for people don't know how to determine their size or who like to take chances.&amp;nbsp; I rarely return anything, I never have and I've been shopping with shopping channels for over 30 years.&amp;nbsp; I take my measurements with a tap measure about once a month, I never assume that I wear a certain size.&amp;nbsp; I don't care what sizes the models and host wear.&amp;nbsp; I don't use them as a size guide and most important of all, I know what styles look good on me and I know what styles don't look good on me and I don't deviate.&amp;nbsp; I don't let the blah blah blah get to me.&amp;nbsp; Also, I only buy from 4 or 5 designers here.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I know the cut, the sizing, the styles and the colors.&amp;nbsp; Yes, I often see things from other designers that catch my eye but I just refuse to take that chance.&amp;nbsp; "you have 30 days to return it" doesn't influence be because wrapping it up and treking to the post office on a Saturday morning and waiting for my refund is not the way to go for me.&amp;nbsp; I think I return clothing about 3 times a year and ususally it's because the color isn't what I thought it would be....or I already own something similar to it.&amp;nbsp; I returned an Evine dress last week because I forgot that I own a similar dress.&amp;nbsp; When I do return something, the cost of returning is totally irrelevant because&amp;nbsp;it would cost a lot more to keep a dress that I'm never going to wear.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I assume QVC throws it aways. Clothes they can re-sell.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The mark up in price to us vs cost to QVC must be huge that they can afford to throw away returns and still make a profit.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It is super convenient to buy on line however HSN has more reasonable fees than QVC. Evine is a NONO. There is always TJMax, Amazon Prime and the three fab Saks, Neiman Marcus &amp;amp; Nordstrom which free shipping &amp;amp; return and even with shoprunner!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

For instance, we have sent back only a few things&amp;nbsp;to QVC in many years.&amp;nbsp;We have never sent back anything from other places we ordered from online. As a matter of fact,&amp;nbsp;we have never returned anything to a&amp;nbsp;store (locally). And that doesnt mean we just keep things we dont like. We like everything we buy.&amp;nbsp;I have a&amp;nbsp;friend that shops almost daily at stores and shes often taking stuff back. (I think she in particular, has a shopping addiction). That's not to say everyone does, but&amp;nbsp;we just think things over a lot before purchasing.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I just returned a pair of D&amp;amp;C How Timeless and Qvc actually sent me a questionnaire on how I didn't like the fit!I was very surprised. It was only multiple choice, but chose baggy\boxy as the legs were huge. I hope they are looking into their inconsistencies. I had a pair fit perfect before and no longer can trust that the next pair will fit the same.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In addition to lunch and a drink, sometimes I buy something I might mull over first longer online because my friend wants to get to another store and I don't want to come back and find it gone. So i might need to return later. If I go alone, I spend the same &amp;amp; gas.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
