Haven't seen @Cherry for a while

There are several posters I enjoy hearing from on these forums. But over the last few days I realize I have not heard anything from Cherry. Anyone know if she is on vacation ?

This is a problem now...people just disappearing and we know it's not from the rapture. (I just watched the new epi of The Leftovers). Gosh darn it, I am tired of our fellow posters disappearing. Heaven forbid if we have a disagreement with a m*d.

She hasn't posted here since just before Easter. She was ill at that time and wasn't bouncing back. But the last thread she posted in was somewhat contentious, so I don't know if that left a bad taste in her mouth, or ? Maybe that has nothing to do with it, I don't know. People do sometimes take breaks from this place for a variety of reasons, for varying lengths of time.

Yes, she'd been ill and was down about it and wrung out. I hoped she hadn't had to be hospitalized. But it's all conjecture.

It has been my observation that if a poster announces that they are leaving or taking time off...they are told that they are drama queens, looking for attention and to just leave without the big goodbye. On the other hand...if a poster leaves for an extended period of time or doesn't come back...it is said that poster is rude, inconsiderate and doesn't care how many folks she has worried in her absence. No win/no win! I hope Cherry is well and returns if she wishes.

I get what you are saying @cody2, but there is a difference between a "good-bye cruel world" type of post and a "taking a break" post.
