WOLFGANG GETS HIS STAR

On our local news here in So. Ca. today they showed Wolfgang getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He had a young boy with him (I guess his son) and his wife. Since he is the "Chef to the Stars" I thought he would've had one by now. I know they have to pay for it themselves, but he can afford it! I tune into HSN sometimes when he's on to see what he's selling. It's hard to watch him while he cooks and wipes his nose all the time and then touches the food and serves it to the hosts. Yuk!

Yeah, really. I don't get that one. Granted, it goes without saying that the guy is gross as heck but he does work hard and is an acclaimed chef.

But the Holly WoF thing is about the arts, no? (i.e. acting, singing, dancing)

It's a compilation of people who have excelled in various mediums of entertainment. I've seen W of F stars for a few famous directors, radio personalities, designers (Edith Head), screenwriters, and other segments that might not immediately come to mind. They aren't all TV and film actors.

maybe he should sing and dance while cooking--might distract him from wiping his nose!

Agree 100%, he is the most disgusting cook to watch (which I don't but have caught him a couple of times for about 15 seconds). I would never eat anything he prepared.

His constant nose wiping just left me sick to my stomach and finally I would have to stop watching him. I always wondered if that was him on camera and live how are his hygiene manners behind the kitchen door when preparing meals? Nasty.

Just googled it. A star costs $30,000-$40,000. Julia Roberts and Dustin Hoffman are not on the WOF, I guess they're not egotistical enough. Or they are too cheap (LOL, I'm fine with that!).
