Say, a dinner date maybe.

I notice how my date treats the waitstaff. I HATE when someone is rude to servers.

I notice how much my date talks about themselves, and how much they seem to want to get to know me. Too much talking about themselves is a huge turnoff to me. And I notice how comfortable they appear to be with themselves, how happy they are. Years ago, I found some melancholy or maybe even depressive tendencies to be oddly appealing, as though they were deeper or something, when they were just depressed. Maybe it came with the artistic temperments I found appealing. Which makes sense, given my background. I know what to look for now in that area.

And if they seem to be carrying around some bad stuff from a previous marriage or relationship, that's a huge red flag to me.

I also notice how someone eats. Bad table manners just grosses me out.

I know many here are married and not dating (presumably ) but some here are still dating, right?
