I just read about a 42 story high glass bottom pool on top of one of Houston's newest luxury apartment buildings. Part of the pool extends over the street.

Would you swim in this? I'm a swimmer, but there is NO WAY ever I would even go up to see it. Of course the fact that I'm afraid of heights might have something to do with it! LOL!

It's only a matter of time before we see one of the "unsuspecting" contestants on The Bachelor franchise going on a date here! The producers love locations like this!

Doesnt look big enough for swimming; more like an oversized bathtub with everyone sitting. Not my cup of tea.

It makes me nauseous just looking at it. I saw the one in Toronto and just looking down, not going near it threw me for a loop.

The ones in Chicago had so many people gathered in that little space along with little kids lying on the floor - ugh not for me!

Not for me, I do not like heights, although I have been in very high building before, but no more...My stomachcan't take it...... A cool experience if you aren't afraid of heights..

To expound upon a thread from yesterday, I feel the same about public pools as I do about salad bars. Major ick!

Aside from the gross factor, that pool would terrify me.

So all the poor folks down below look up and think, "that's so cool. I wish I could live in a building like that." And all the people in the pool are looking down thinking, "this view is terrible!! I can't believe I paid for this."
