How About Your Favorite Commercials?

I just saw one of my favorites, the Pedigree dog food commercial where the guy goes to the pound to adopt a dog and the worker tells him that the dog has had a rough time of it. The look on the dog's face as he's sitting in the front seat next to the guy going home just makes me cry every time I see it.

One that makes me laugh laugh laugh EVERY time I see it is the Johsonville Sausage commercial with the guy out in the woods, talking to the animals. Cracks me up every time when the turkey laughs.

Another that just makes me smile is the wrestler and his daughter singing "I'm A Little Teapot". So sweet, just makes you feel like there is hope in the world.

OH, and speaking of Hope in the World, I LOVE the commercial promoting community service that starts with the guy on the subway looking at a sweet doggie picture imploring him to adopt. A wonderful commercial. No better message!

Man, I love the Clorox 'Distance' commercial.

The boy in the red shirt has such swagger.

Several: the Farmers Insurance one with the dogs synchronized swimming. The dog driving one and the Subaru with the kid going to college and the dog. Pretty much any Dog or Subaru one.

Oh, that Suburu one kills me. The dog's face never fails to start me crying.

I'm with you on anything with dogs or Subaru (and Subaru uses a lot of doggies, don't they?)

One of my favorites is the gummy bear commercial where they are all at a meeting and speak like children. Also the Farmers Insurance commercials especially the one where the dog flooded the room. I also like the one where the little boy is mopping the bathroom floor and is dipping the mop in the toilet. Another one is the one where the little boy has to go to the bathroom and can't get his belt unbuckled. The Pedigree dog food one where the guy is adopting a dog. Then there is the one with the little boy who gets a dog named Duke and he can't say it so he end's up calling the dog Duck and it shows all the phases of the dog's life. They rarely show the full story now though.

I've been in the house most of this weekend so far. That means a lot of TV time!

I was just thinking about how much time and effort I spend trying to avoid commercials.

Two of my favorite commercials are the one with the adults eating the candy talking like little children and the one where the man and woman are standing in their yard and she says "Her She Shed is on fire". I love, love that commercial.

I always wonder how many takes it took for her to be able to keep repeating those words without messing up!
