    <description>&lt;P&gt;Has anyone read this series?  I put it off for years thinking it was just another bodice ripper (romance) but someone is really pushing it.  I usually read fantasy like Anne Bishop or sci fi like Andre Norton or CJ Cherryh. &lt;/P&gt;</description>
