What Do You Like to Collect?

I like to collect Rosary beads.

I think that they are pretty, and I like what they represent spiritually.

I'm not Catholic, but they do bring me a measure of peace and comfort.

Lately, it's become obvious to me that I like to collect Brahmin purses and Toms shoes. I need to work on curtailing that a little.

The older I get, I find I no longer want to collect things anymore. I do not need more STUFF.

When I was younger(30-50) I liked to collect things that have to do with birds.... so I have a lot of bird things in my home, pictures, figurines, etc.

I used to collect dolls & jewelry, now that I'm older I'm getting rid of them & no longer collect anything.

Nothing. I have more "stuff" than I need and am working on getting rid of the excess.

I had some collectible figurines at one time but I got rid of them. I like a clean, uncluttered space - and I may not be there quite yet but I will be soon.

I love to collect antiques and within the category I have collected graniteware (enamelware), Bonny Blue being my favorite and my collection is above my cabinets in my kitchen. Looking at them (and my other antiques) just makes me happy.....

While Marie Osmond manufactured her dolls I collected them, I have a nice collection of them, but I only purchased the ones that reflected times/events in my life.

And for a very long time now I have collected Black/White Cows, my biggest one is a 400 Pound Cement Calf, I used to display it in my yard until vandals thought it was funny to tip her over and cracked one of her legs, now she sits in the garage safe. Most of my cow items are in my kitchen.

I am the same as SeaMaiden but I collected funky fish items.

Husband has a small collection of cowboy cookie jars.

I have a small collection of dollstones by Boyds bears. I inherited a few nice things and I display them. I don't have a big collection of anything

I used to collect Precious Moments but have not bought any in years. I have a curio cabinet full of them.

I also used to collect owls & have over 100 of them. Most of them are boxed up now as I got tired of dusting them.

I have several Fenton pieces too.

I like to collect trinket boxes which I still do here & there. They had a Royal Dalton trinket box on HSN the other day I wanted to buy but had a glitch with the computer & by the time I got online it was sold out.

I also collect coins.

I think that's it. LOL!!!

I don't really collect quilts but I have a lot of them. DH's mother makes them.
