...saw a Ragu commercial during the Olympics tonight that indicated it apparently was a comfort meal for one young man! Did anyone else see the commercial? A maybe late-elementary-aged kid comes bounding up the stairs, calling, "Mom?" and then he opens his parents' closed bedroom door. There's a man's voice singing about something like "your parents are in bed, and it's only 8'clock; this is why you were taught to knock!!" The boy gets a traumatized look on his face when he looks in the un-seen bedroom and turns around and runs out of the room. The next scene is the whole family enjoying a comforting meal together of Ragu, and the boy is much happier now!

What the???!!!! DH and I got a good laugh out of it because he had a similar shocking experience when HE was a kid, but it was SUCH an unusual commercial to play, well, ANY time but especially during the Olympics that I almost wondered if it was for real! I consider myself to have a goofy sense of humor, but this was really kind of odd, even to me!
