MORE STRANGE WEATHER COMING

In NC, we've had mild mornings and days reaching to the 60s and 70s. I've enjoyed sleeping with my window open at night and napping in my hammock on the screened porch. I've been able to walk Sadie and Molly wearing short sleeves. Spring is here. So I thought.

SNOW ❄️ expected on Sunday....as much as 6" accumulation in areas of VA. NC may also see snow and high of 40.

Crazy, right?

It really is....so hard to believe that in the recent few weeks it's been almost 80 and today it was in the 60s here in southeastern, Pa. We're supposed to get 1-2 inches of snow Friday morning but thank goodness not 6" ....UGH!

I'm so read for spring! It was a pleasure to take a walk this afternoon in the sunshine but it was a bit windy.

Here in RI--one day above average, next day feels like winter! Today was almost 60--with snow in the forecast this weekend. But I love the craziness!

It was 70° and beautiful here today with no wind. With high pressure over the Southwest, we should have a week of nice weather. Need to race to get outdoor chores done before it gets hot.

NJ weather crazy also.

This week mild, in the 60's. Snow friday.

No wonder folks can't shake their winter colds. Affects my respiratory system somethin' awful, one day warm next day freezing. Grrrrr................and Burrrrrr.

Weather Roulette. Have to see what all the wind we had yesterday did to the outside when I can see out this morning. Lots of branches I'm sure. It was interesting to hear about Chicago yesterday too. Their winds must have gone right across Lake Michigan and we got some of that.

We have had lots of snow on the ground since the begining of December.Got another 4 inches Tuesday. 28 degrees right now.

Actually, my recollection is that we're now having what's typical for March....at least in the metro-DC area where I live. What was out of the ordinary was the strange, warm February. I'm concerned that traditional spring won't be as pretty as usual, since we''ve already had some of the trees and flowers blooming....way ahead of schedule.

@Shanus, II am really excited about your son building those beautiful raised beds, but with the weather you are getting, I would plant the brisket seeds in doors and water with a little tomato juice every day. I'd wait until after the last frost before planting outside....

We had a low of about 38 this morning...supposed to be 79 this afternoon. Tomorrow roughly the same. Saturday the high will be 62, Sunday 52 with lows in the high forties. I live in South Carolina. Our azaleas and dogwoods are blooming! We've had a warmer than usual winter, but this is nuts.

Where I work is just a couple miles from the Augusta National Golf Course...home of the Masters Tournament. It's famous for it's beautiful grounds. I'll be surprised if there's a flower on the course by tournament time, which is the 1st week in April. It will still be beautiful, even without flowers, but it takes your breath away when everything is in bloom!

SW PA. Appears today is our last day of spring like weather and we will be heading backwards to winter for the next week or so. Highs in the mid 30s, lows in the teens and the dreaded snow.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the trees that are budding and the plants that have already sprouted and are up 4-5 inches.

It's supposed to start snowing here in my part of Ohio around 5:00 this evening. They are calling for 1-3" of snow.

By the second day of March, we had already had more snow for the month than we had all of February which is very unusual. The forecast I saw today was through next Wednesday and it's supposed to be in the upper 20s.

We had some windy days, too @qualitygal. No damage except for blowing more pollen around from early blooming trees and flowers that thought spring had arrived. Surprise!!
