topic Need feedback on hearing aid prices in Community Chat

Long story short, my hearing loss requires hearing aids. Had a very thorough hearing test (with doc's OK) at Costco today. I need hearing aids, no surprise.

I don't want to state the price here so as not to influence anyone's response, but the ones I need are the higher end price (NATURALLY!).

I'd appreciate any and all feedback regarding pricing information, etc. I have more loss in my right ear but definite loss on both sides and need the aids that allow air flow, so those little ones that go into the ear aren't feasible. The problem is with my cochlea, but no bone problems or anything physical, just the normal loss that comes with aging. I'm 64.

Thanks to all.
