56 yr Old Tiny Lady Rescues Cop Being Beaten

What a story! Vickie Williams-Tillman, out driving Sunday morning sees a police officer struggling with a young man at the side of his cruiser. A policeman who looks to me to be twice her size.

She pulls up beside them and asks the cop if he needs help, realizes he couldn't speak, and calls 911. Then she gets out of the car, Officer Aime was being beaten on the head with his own baton and the perp was trying to get his gun.

Ms. W-T tries to grab the gun so the perp doesn't get it, then she jumps on the bad guy's back, trying to get him off the officer. At that point, the police arrive and use a stun gun on him.

Isn't that a great story? After all the bad news and bad weather lately, this story makes me feel better. Officer Aime says Vickie most likely saved his life.

It was probably a really stupid thing to do, especially if the perp had gotten the cop's gun - it could have turned out tragic. But good that things didn't turn out badly.

You know, sometimes we have to speak out, or do, for the good. This was a time when she felt compelled so good for her. She has my respect.

Thanks I know it happens, I try to check things out but I missed it. I really love this story. She sure did take a chance, and it just adds to it, imo, that she's so little and he's a big hulking guy. Good for her and I'm glad he's OK!

It was brave of her to help out the policeman but I would never let them take my picture and put it on the news.

I'll bet that big policeman gets some ribbing from his friends, lol.
