Sorry I got mixed up. I thought he's on QVC. I guess cause I don't watch him anymore, I forgot. I think Paula Deen is on Evine now.

I tuned in to see what he is selling new and then I see him touching the food and then touching other things and then he goes back to touching and tasting the food. So unsanitary. He's been doing this for many years now on HSN. I do own some of his products and love them.

I do like the spiralizer he's selling today. Had a manual one that I couldn't use with my arthritic hands.

I noticed during the midnight hour he does have very active hands. I don't like him much. I did order the spiralizer.

And I think last night he actually said "Jesus Christ" when he couldn't see something clearly and said something about getting old....but with his accent, who could really tell? I think it was when he was showing the pressure cooker.

He's pretty gross. I don't really watch hsn anyway, but I tend to make a point of avoiding him.

He used to sell decent quality products but it's pretty much a crapshoot now. His pans are not the quality of the older ones. His electrics are somewhere between ok and 'oops, it caught fire and burned my counter'. But the crazy thing is that people will give the products 5 stars even when they smoke and catch fire. It's kind of freaky, really. I've read some pretty bizarre reviews over the past several years that actually said that the item smoked, or caught fire, but they LOVE IT! (yikes) At least some are honest and do leave the proper review. They usually have to change the item number when they bring back products so that the negative reviews disappear.

Yes...he did say "JC"...and after he commented that he couldn't say "JC", his assistant gave him a two word phrase that rhymed with it...can't remember what it was...host was laughing hysterically...she actually took a moment off from packing up green boxes of the food he had made to bring home...I wouldn't touch anything he had made--not with his yucky hygiene...

This morning think it was the host who said something about making a nice dinner for his wife for Valentines Day and WP responded something like that depends if she wants me more in the bedroom or the kitchen. Host immediately changed the subject. He obviously has a high opinion of himself. My pet peeve about WP is the towel over the shoulder, I hate seeing him or anyone else do that.

I think you're right. Guess it's okay with the "higher ups" at HSN. But it's not okay with me--all done watching that guy.

I view the product vs the "chef habits". He must be doing something right because he's the chef at every big known Hollywood gala, in fact, I know he is doing the Grammy dinner (a friend of ours is invited) -- he's NOT cooking or touching my food so no need for me to be so critical of his "selling/cooking" habits.

HSN, Evine & Q doesn't care how the "vendors" eat, prep, etc. their bottom line is SELL make $$$$$$$! (And frankly, don't think he reads these boards or anything else - since he's on HSN).

Good lord just a thought, could you imagine if Gordon Ramsey was selling something we'd have to mute it!!!

Every product I've ever gotten from WP has been excellent & some of them are over 10 yrs old inc. my SS orig set of pots & pans he first offered on HSN!
