IDENTICAL TRIPLETS!

With all the baby talk going on here, I was thrilled to see an article on natural identical triplets. Three girls, five months old, Bailey, Beau and Brook.

The mom is a twin herself and does a blog about her family. The triplets have an adoring five year old brother, Kanon.

Mom also has an Instagram account with a lot more photos.

Aw, they are adorable! I just became a grandma one week ago today to identical twins so I can't imagine adding one more to the mix. My daughter has two more at home already so she will have her hands full. My worry is how to keep telling them apart until they are old enough to tell us which is which. I love these stories though. They've been very encouraging. My granddaughters are just 2 lbs and 3 lbs as they were born 10 weeks early. I'm so excited to see what the future holds in watching them grow. I'm getting ready to go visit them in a few hours. We just keep hoping the nurses do not switch their incubators around because I only know which is which by which one was placed on the left and which on the right. lol! I don't want to be calling them by the wrong names! That will really confuse them.

Thank YOU @Noel7! We were scared when she went into labor so early and they couldn't stop it but now that they are here and doing so well so far, I feel so very blessed. We have a long way to go but we are taking them in baby steps, pun is intended in this case, lol.

Wow! My cousin had triplets years ago, No known family history of multiples on Mom's side. Two boys and a girl.

What precious little bundles of joy/

I went to elementary school with identical, male triplets. They were hellions. My first teaching job I had identical female triplets. They were beautiful and a teacher's dream.

Nice post, Noel. The son is beautiful, too! It's going to be hard to give him all the attention he deserves, because everyone will always focus on the triplet. I hope he does well.

@Qgirl26 Congratulatons! My father had an identical twin. Most of their extended family never tried to tell them apart.... They were both called "Brother".... I remember being really upset when my father got a letter from a cousin. The address was fine, but the letter started with "Dear Brother." I was saying "He knows which one you are... He sent you a letter. He should use your name!" My father was used to it, though.

There was one cousin, born on their ninth birthday, who could always tell them apart. Even in the crib, before she could talk, if she saw my father she's smile and laugh, but if my uncle walked in, she'd cry!

To the rest of the world, they looked and sounded alike (my uncle called my father at the office once and, when he asked for my father, was told "You just left"). To their kids .... once we were past two or three .... there was never any confusion.

You'll figure it out quickly, and enjoy the fun!

Such cute faces!! I am a twin, but we were fraternal girl twins. Couldn't have been more different - hair color, eye color and physique. Always wondered how life would have been if we had been identical.....

@ItsME, I love the stories with your dad. I most definitely plan to use their given names. I think it's important, as it sounds like you do, for them to have their own identities. I think we are in for fun times though, especially if they turn out to be little stinkers who like to play jokes. That story with your cousin knowing who was who is really cool. I wonder why she cried at one and smiled at the other? Was your dad's twin the evil one? lol! That's such a cute story! Thanks for sharing!
