<description>&lt;P&gt;DD and I had noticed out dryer wasn't drying loads, large or small efficientlly. We thought we might need a new dryer. Turns out our dryer vent to the outside was clogged over 80%. The chance of fire was a reality. We've lived in our townhome for 16 years...they were built 10 years before. The vent from the dryer to the outside had never been cleaned...Geez, never thought about it. I washed 2 loads after the vent was cleaned...it's like I had a new dryer...one dryer cycle for each load! Please think about how long you've lived where you are and how efficiently your dryer works. The chance of fire is something to consider...it doesn't cost much for the cleaning and you can sign up for an annual cleaning that costs about $30.00...well worth the cost.
