topic Question about Vera Bradley/cotton quilted bags in Community Chat

I was cleaning out a closet and came across several Vera Bradley bags that I hadn't used in years. I love the size of them, the feel of the soft cotton and the quilted stitching. I remembered that I stopped using them because of the print and patterns.

I normally wear a top that has a pattern. So I always tried to buy a quilted purse that had as little of an obvious pattern as possible. But even then, I always felt like there was such a clash between the purse and my outfit. I never did find one that I felt was really appropriate for carring with any other pattern of clothing. I checked out the Vera Bradleys on QVC thinking that maybe she now made ones that could be considered one color or at least pretty monochromatic.

No such luck. In fact looking at the current crop of styles, some seem even more patterned than in the past. Does she ever make bags that are not quite so 'loud'? Are there any other places to buy a quilted cotton handbag that are more muted in style? I have looked around and it seems that a very vibrant color pallet and wild print are part of these quilted bags no matter who makes them.

They are such comfortable bags to use and carry. I would love to find them somewhere in solid colors. I would buy lots of them....
