Has anyone done anything stupid lately?

I was going to put some left overs away and got out a container. I had put some chili in the drawer in stead of the fridge. Down the disposal it went. Must of been a week old or more. Getting old or already.

I found a coffee cup, with a couple swallows of coffee in it, in the cupboard with the clean dishes. I had it on the counter while I was unloading the dishwasher & must have put it away with the clean ones. Good thing I store them right side up!

Pressure cooker...I was going to cook my regular bean soup so got out the pressure cooker and took out the insert pot so I could wash the beans first before cooking them. Stupid part...after removing the insert pot and placing it on the counter, I proceeded to dump the beans and water into the cooker with no insert! I think I ruined it!

How about arriving at your office, reaching into your handbag and finding your home phone there! And I feel I'm a relatively young person to do such a thing (well, probably not if I still have a land line!) Lord only knows what I'll be doing in later years...

Yeah. Spent a lot of time last night looking for my readers. I even had a semi tantrum about how I'm so sick of my readers constantly going missing, how I go through so many pair of them it's ridiculous, what happens to all of them, on and on I went.

My readers were on my head the entire time!

Here's what made me feel really dumb just a few days ago. I bought some printed fleece material at Jo Ann fabrics. I made a small pouch for my son to hang over his dorm bedpost, for his cell phone (he got stuck on the top bunk). The material has his school mascot name on it. While driving home, I noticed that the design (and the words) was printed backwards! I drove back to JoAnn to get material from another bolt, when a MAN in the store pointed out that I was looking at the wrong side of the fabric. I repeat, I felt really dumb. But I laughed at myself and went home.

Reached for my glass of ice water and picked up the lit Luminara candle and took a drink instead LOLOL. Grandson laughed his head off. Woke up from a nap and answered the remote control instead of my phone. So many things its bad !!!LOLOLOL

Locked the dog in the garage (detached) accidentally, then an hour later went looking all over the neighborhood for her when I couldn't find her in the yard

Yes, I was literally doing three things at one time this morning, I put a pod in the Keurig, pressed start, and never put the cup underneath.

I do so many stupid things that, after awhile, they are just normal to me....LOL! The most common thing is with the three remotes for my TV and the receiver and CD Player in my stereo. I normally grab one of the stereo remotes and try to do something with the TV or vice versa.

Just this morning! had both sox on, even one shoe, by the time I got the 2nd sock on, I was asking myself what I'd done with the other sock. It was the one in the shoe. I mean, don't ask me anything too early, or if I have a conversation going on with myself. LOL
