An unusual question I'm asking for deets

Do you remember times in your life when everything seemed "just perfect?"

Please describe.

As women, I believe we often feel "less than" or lacking somehow.

There are so few times I have felt the elation of perfection... sights, sounds (music?) my clothing look or when I felt I was looking really good or even stunning. Those times just vibrate for me with heightened sensations and they are unforgettable.

I'd like for you to describe yours!

1) During college wearing a jean overall skirt dress in high clogs red blouse and red tights-- long blonde hair. We were in a nightspot -- great music I was with a guy I had a mad crush on but my old boyfriend (who had jilted me) was there. Every eye was on me ... FEEL THE POWER!!!

Oh and I was skinny and tan from a spring break Florida trip, too.

Many times!! All I ask is that my loved ones are all right and I have no health problem at the moment. To me that is perfection.

As far as feeling personally pretty, I do have a nice memory. Walking to the Met for the opera for a new production, first night, and dressed up. My date was much older than I, a famous painter and a very nice person. As we walked down Broadway, someone stopped us and asked, "Are you movie stars?"

Moment of social acceptance: 4 years old playing outdoors with the neighborhood kids. I got to be 2nd in charge... "Punky" was the #1 person. LOL

My moments like this are more in retrospect and not so much at the actual moment. For me, things are often clearer in life’s rearview mirror than in the actual mirror. Perhaps time provides new knowledge, perpective and appreciation.

What a great moment for you-- wonderful and happy!

I have not had "many times" of feeling "on top of the world" although, in retrospect, I have many "real" reasons to feel blessed and grateful!

The years I was a mom

When my students didn't want to leave me. They took every course I taught and tried to retake them and couldn't! So they became my assistant!

A day that stands out as if caught in the lens of a camera, was the day I found my little baby daughter lying in the rays of sunlight streaming into her room.

She was so content, and I "froze that moment in my mind forever." It seems to gleam as if in a halo.

My wedding day. Normally any public function makes me nervous, but I was unbelievably calm during the entire day and evening. It's as though a spirit was telling me this was the best decision I had ever made. And no, I was not on any medication!

Moment of dance perfection:

It would be hard for me to imagine what it would feel like to make that impossible basket during a basketball game or how a perfect pitch in baseball might feel.

My moment in ballet came when I was 25 years old!

I executed 26 steps in a sequence perfectly, much to my surprise and that of my professor! It came without thinking-- what exhilaration! What a complete surprise!

The day I graduated from college with honors

The day I got my first job

The times I got promoted

My wedding day

The day I gave birth to my son

Whenever I get all dressed up for a special occasion & turn heads

This Christmas when my DH reminded me that I was the center of our

family & still the love of his life after years of marriage!

I may have mis-worded my original question. I didn't mean for it to be a "brag" question and you caught my drift perfectly!

The moment is a matter of how one "feels" and I like your description a lot.

The day I graduated from college as a single mom with my nine-year-old and my family watching me. I gave her an engraved silver bracelet and told her thank you for taking this wonderful journey with me. There were many more moments, too.
