We have Verizon and not happy at all with them. The last bill was 200.00. I called and was on the phone for hours with them. They are not good to deal with. We have one phone, fios package. Told I wanted a lower bill and what could I do. I no longer have public tv, and less Chanel's. Nothing I miss. The bill is now 171.00. I still think it is too high. Spent 51/2 hours on the phone talking to different people. All afternoon! Was tired and not that satisfied. I may call back again. Your numbers are better than mine. One man I could not understand and had to wait for another one. He did not speak well at all. Was he in the US?

My Verizon bill is high. I have only one phone, unlimited everything for 127.00 a month. I think this is high, but the coverage is very good.

I'm considering changing to sprint when my contract is up. It looks like they are cheaper for unlimited everything.

Any helpful my opinions on this? What is your experience with sprint? Thanks for any helpful suggestions that can help me decide.

I have unlimited everything from Sprint and I pay $65 a month for it. This also includes 3G of use as the phone as a personal wifi hotspot. For an extra $30 a month, I could have unlimited use of the phone as a hotspot. I'm seriously considering doing that the next time AT&T jacks up my price for U-Verse internet. Coverage and speeds with Sprint are great most of the time. Their customer service is awful, but I think that's pretty much the same with all cell carriers. It's fine if you can resolve the problem thru their on-line chat, but if you have to actually call them it's a nightmare.

I've been with Sprint/Nextel since late 1990's. I have unlimited and pay $99 a month including the phone insurance. I may have a limit on phone calls but since I rarely use it for the phone have not paid much attention to that. I have LTE service almost 100% of the time. Do think you have to look at what is best for area where you live as far as service.

No contract is required. You do have to pay for the phone but they give you a reduced price. I just got a new Samsung & my husband & son each got an LG.

They can have the best prices - for a reason. Because generally in most places their signal/speed sux. Everything depends on where you live and how you use your phone. You need to know *for certain* how good the coverage is *everywhere* you'll use it - home, work, trips, vacation. If your coverage...isn't, you could have a great price and it could be useless.

In the second largest city in the country, in the middle of the city, I could never get a signal inside a building.

Only comment I can say is I walked away, no I ran away, from Verizon due to their horribly high costs and how much they kept adding to my bill. That was the cell phone business - I have Metro PCS now. Now Verizon is gone from my landline, TV and Internet. Frontier took over that and not real happy with them but better than Verizon. And I use to swear by Verizon - sad.

Here in Florida Verizon was bought out by Frontier. We loved when we had Verizon - so far all bad experience with Frontier. Every month we get a different bill, and DH has to call them and argue with them. For a landline phone with the most basic service (we only use it for the gate to the community and the security system) plus our internet access we are supposed to be paying $79/month. But it is a monthly battle. This month the bill came it was $124. Then DH either has to go to the office and sit arounfd there waiting or call them and be on hold forever. Very frustrating. If we didn't have a contract we would drop them- we will drop them when the contract is up.

I have unlimited talk and text and 8 gig for data, plus insurance on the phone.

Maybe they can work work with me and give me a better deal since I've been with verizon forever.

Please Call CS at Verizon and ask about you account. Most folks do not use/need 8GB of data on just a phone each month.

You also don't need their insurance fee. Buy it from Square Trade, pay a one-time fee, and that's it. Your 8GB of data is $70 by itself. If you don't use a lot of data, i.e. Aren't internet browsing every day, or using two devices or sharing, you probably don't need 8GB. 4 GB is only 50/mo/

I've had AT&T since 2001 ... couldn't be happier with them.

I wouldn't ever even consider using Sprint or Verizon - based solely on what I've heard about the experience of friends and relatives who have used those services.
