William Christopher passes on.

He was the chaplain/minister on the series MASH. He passed on December 31st from lung cancer.

I liked MASH.... he was so quirky.... my condolences to his family.

We sure have lost a lot of many favorite stars and musicians lately.... is something in the water?

One of his sons is autistic, and after MASH ended he let his career go somewhat to devote his time to caring for his son and fund-raising for autism charities. A very sweet, kind man.

Last night, HuffPo had a list of 102 celebs we lost in 2016. Now it's 103.

I really enjoyed William Christopher and the part he played in MASH, probably the smartest comedy show ever on television. He was 84.

The last count I heard was 105 and he made 106. Guess it depends on who is keeping track.
