Shawn, so insensitive!

a little while ago on Anything Goes with Shawn and Rick, they did a "hair montage" on Shawn, she basically described her hair as a disaster, with the hair stylist right there. How do you think the woman felt? Really? any one else see this… I felt so bad for the woman, I guess it is the Callista tools woman.

Her hair IS a disaster.
No need for that. She keeps her nails up,
and her hair is multi-colored.
Holy cow, get it done, I'm tired of looking at
that tie-dyed hair.
Either go blonde or go black, one or the other.
She's the only one there with bad hair color, all the
others keep up.

I don't care if it's the style, it's not stylish to me!!

This is only MY opinion. I know many disagree!!

I think Shawn was just criticizing her hair, not the stylist. As for her hair being the worst, what about Kirstin (name,spelling?) with sides hanging in her face . I know you all are going to say; that's the style'...not in my opinion..and why? I hate that on anyone but the hosts are supposed to present style, right...guess not...their casual dress and some hair are disgusting.

I also agree about Kerstin's hair. It looks silly hanging like
that, especially when it's not even curled a little bit.

There just seems to be a big lack of pride in how they
look these days.

I guess I'm old fashioned, I like to look well groomed
whenever I step out of my house and go into a place with
the public.

I don't Shawn was being insensitive at all. That fact that someone's style isn't your style doesn't mean the look isn't stylish. I think Shawn has a modern, edgy style, which I enjoy.

just read a story on line the other day and they interviewed top stylist about what is in and out with hair and those heavy blond streaks that Shawn has are so out. The look today is much, much more subtle.

It was probably just a bit done for the show. Just part of the entertainment and selling . Doubt the hairdresser cared.

Yeah, I saw it. Some people are so self-absorbed; it's all about them all of the time. How many times did she mention her wedding during that presentation?

I did not see this incident but on Good Friday, I thought Shawn was being inappropriate when she was proseletyzing while selling a piece of cross jewelry. She was even recommending a certain devotional book. The QVC audience is quite diverse and the workplace is not a place to preach. Others can sell crosses without "crossing the line."

That's one sales tactic that rubs me the wrong way.

It's her hair and if she considers it a disaster, so be it. I don't think that's a sensitivity issue, regardless of whether the stylist is there or not... Personally, I'm often underwhelmed with the way QVC's stylists apparently style the hosts.

I have noticed her tendency to do this not only with devotional jewelry but with a couple other items (was it a ring or something that she designed?). Maybe one sentence is fine, but she overdoes it, IMO.
