Why so many TSV shows every day?

Seems like all you show anymore is TSV ...in between shows, during shows, and now during In the Kitchen with David.....I have seen this same commercial hundreds of times! Why have you shifted your focus on TSVs rather than new products. I used to enjoy watching but these TSV showings are on overload! PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR OLD FORMAT!

I totally agree! It seems like it's every 15-20 minutes and then following that we have 1 hour of the TSV. Yes! It's a vacuum cleaner.

My favorite is watching everyone make pillows worth talking about for that length of time. It's almost (I said almost) entertaining.......

Not a big deal though because I just change the channel.

I totally agree ... earlier this morning the TSV vacum was on both QVC & QVC2 at the same time ... I changed the channel but, every time I went back to QVC the vacum was on again ... this is so annoying ... in addition to this the woman sales person for the vacum has the most annoying voice & laugh ... I want to punch the TV .... OFF GOES QVC!!!!!

I have written off weekend viewing.

None of my children or their friends are remotely interested in sitting in front of a TV for an hour watching a vacuum or cheesy pillow presentation, and neither am I. The reason QVC presents on TV is get folks to watch, so having a repetitive, hour-long snooze fest of shows seems counterintuitive. Declining sales should serve as a wake-up call, but these Q executives are a stubborn bunch.

TSV today--boring and on way too much. That's why I won't be tuning in to QVC any more today.

I have been watching less and less QVC because of this. It seems like every time I turn the tv on it's todays special value and like another poster said, you turn to Q2 and the same thing is on. How much can you actually say about a pillow, sweeper,coat, shoes etc,etc.!!! Who actually thought this was a good idea??? Yes, I know I can turn the channel but I'm really only interested in a few channels and the Q happens to be one of them. Well, that may be changing!

Thats why Im glad its the NFL season and I can forgoe QVC and it's endless TSV shows... a real SNOREFEST...very appropriate that they have the My Pillow on isn't it?

What is also bad as I was flipping channels to get to the NFL "breakfast game" from London I saw that darn HALO being shown again....boy QVC must not have sold that many for the TSV or the warehouse is overflowing with that thing....it was the TSV a few days ago and STILL being inundated with it.....YAY FOOTBALL!

TSV's "used to be" something special. Now, it's just the same old stuff with l0% knocked off.

The Q has diminished anything special about them.

Since the Q only wants to make money on what they have interests in, there's nothing of interest anymore.

Actually a pretty funny post. I expect a shopping channel to not only show the TSV non-stop, but to show related items over and over as well. If the TSV is an item you aren't interested in, why would you tune in at all on that day? Sorry, not getting it.

People arent actually going to sit there watch something they dont want to....if we flip channels and see the same thing we know how to work the remote and/or find something else to do...in the meantime QVC loses out because there is no variety and that is what the OP is talking about..BTW QVC keeps losing revenue according to their financials

I agree! Sometimes the TSV price is not much off the regular price! Not discounting the fact that the TSV is inundating the 24 hour presentations, so many TSV's are repeats - over and over. How many pillows, vacuums, Vitamix's, mattresses, ladders, computers etc does one need in a lifetime???

Yes, but isn't the point the OP was making was about the number of TSV presentations? Not sure how you know that unless you are tuned in non-stop. Plus, I would think that if QVC is losing revenue, they would change their business mode. All retail is suffering right now. Baby boomers are the big shoppers. Next generations, not so much. That's a problem.

They lose me every time there is a 1/2 hr. presentation of the tsv. I switch over to another shopping channel. Also change the channel we any other presentation goes over 2 or 3 minutes. It then just becomes overkill and boring.

Maybe QVC cut back on all of those people needed to haul items from inventory, prep those items, display those items...one item per hour sounds a lot easier...but so boring to viewers. And I have to wonder why a TSV more often than not has a minimal saving. The three popcorn containers saved us a whopping $3.00!!!

Exactly. My Q viewing is limited already, but I avoid them on Saturdays and Sundays. With sales going into the toilet, I wonder why TPTB don't try and fix these issues instead of continuing to show these products over and over again---and sometimes for two hour blocks!

Thats what so stupid--- QVC continues to maintain the status quo (and when they see the results theyshake their head in disarray and send out surveys) and they try to make up revenues by bringing out more expensive items as the TSV....and they even continue with electronics when their reports have continued to reflect for about the last 4 years that sales continue to decline yet they continue to show them---QVC IS CLUELESS!!!...QVC has now made changes at the Executive level to see if they can turn it around....it will be interesting to see what they do......

If I wanted to watch an infomercial, I'd watch that instead. I seldom even look at QVC on the weekends and skip Wednesday night because it is ITKWD for hours, Tuesday is beauty and I've cut down on beauty products because I already have too many.

Products I have no interest in being shown for hours on end result in me not buying. I used to find unique items, especially for home decor and jewelry but the offerings for those lines are slim, too. Nope, I don't need another set of 3 glowing mercury globes or finials.

When I surf on by, @GinaV24, it's always in the dark with something lighting up or jumping around. The programming just really could not be worse. They've gotten so lazy it's now three and four hours of junk ware. I hope they wake up soon.

The hosts sure have to push sales. I find it funny the pitches I hear and got to have and more than one color and must have and wear here and there. My life is so much simpler than all that. On and on they go.
