Breezie Disappointment

I am woman who wants underwear that wears and washes well. I lead an active life, and have not time for delicate care items. I ordered Breezies cotton panties, and the material on these is so thin, holes poke through with just everyday handling. Already, on a few pairs, the waistband has separated from the panties. I will no longer buy these. I will go back to my cotton panties from Target or Kohls. They hold up. So much for Luminaire.

Seems to me the VALUE just isn't there on several of Q's lines anymore - they all must be cutting back to increase their profits.

I had to laugh about luminaire...I think it is ultimaire...wouldn't want those hard working panties lighting up on us.I have not tried their panties and won't now that I know they dont last.

Never tried their panties but they had a multi-popular bra - underwire - even Kathy (the boss) said it was her favorite. Somehow they lost the rights to it - or something took a dive with that company. Bra not available for several years now. So I just don't buy Breezie anymore.

That's a shame. Sorry to hear that. Seems like quality is a thing of the past.

Every underwire I have from VS...the underwire pokes through the material in just a couple months. They are $$, so I stopped shopping there.

I have breezies panties and bras that have lasted for years and years! I don't wash delicate but do air dry. Will be more careful with my purchases now!

I tried a bra from this line years ago and the fit was way off. I love my Bali bras and Vanity fair panties. No need for me to change brands.

I tried a bra many years ago and was disappointed in the fit and had to send it back. Never tried the panties but I buy a package of 5 of the high-cuts for 6 - 8 dollars at WalMart and they last me forever without any problems.... who knew??

Thats disappointing to hear. Breezies cotton briefs used to be armor-clad, bullet-proof and industructible. They went on for years.

I've worn Vanity Fair panties for years, first seconds from the factory in Reading, PA., then seconds I get NWTs from eBay sellers. They go on forever.

Just heads up - anyone liking nylon panties with cotton crotch - the only place I've found them is at Vermount Country Store. Pkg of 3 for ?? reasonable. So happy I found them cuz my old supply was looking 'old'.

I don't care for cotton underpants of any kind, but I love the seamless microfiber Breezies panties. They wear like iron and I don't baby any of my laundry.

I noticed that the elastic around the leg does not last and it goes through the fabric after several washings. So, I have thrown several of them away recently. I do not know how they were in the past. I have a lot of them because of this and I guess that I will wash them in a laundry bag to help them last.

I'm finished with Breezies anything. Their bras have been totally bad for me. The ladies way oversell their product. The fit is poor; the fabric poor; straps not adjustable enough -- it just goes on and on. I've ordered many and had to return them all. I've given up.

How can a company of women who have made bras for 30 years have so many many bad bad reviews. You would think they would eventually get it right. They even try to hide when there is an underwire. No more from me.

I bought a couple of Breezies bras years ago, and they didn't hold up well at all. The underwire came through within a month. I buy Wacoal and Le Mystere now. They're much more expensive, but considering how long they last I think I come out ahead by buying them.

I love my Bali bras. I am use to paying a lot of money for bras but found a website that sells them at a pretty good price. I know that we are not supposed to post other links to websites but check this out. One hanes place .com. run that all together to get the website. They sell several brands on this site Bali being one of them.

I have also tried Breezie and the fit was not right.

Sorry to hear you have had issues.

I have to say I have been impressed with how my breezies bras hold up. I wash them in the delicate cycle in a lingerie bag with a small load. Have not tried the undies.

When Breezies panties disappointed I went back to JCP's Vanity Fair, they wear well and I wash them on delicate and put them on low in the dryer.................

I used to love Breezie's bras and panties....and then I saw changes in their quality...on the bras the underwires came out of the fabric, the straps stretched out of shape, and their panties were just not the same that was the end of Breezies for me.

It seems the Gendel Girls are focusing more on marketing strategies and uping their social media presence rather than producing quality products like they used to .............

Their new Marketing and Social Media guru, Umung Shah, came from Campbell soup of all places........... I went back to JCP and their Vanity Fair line and am much happier........
