Why I like HSN

In addition to several of the brands they carry, e.g., Easy Spirit, Slinky, Origami and others, whenever I receive an item I've ordered, I frequenlty get a free sample of something--Lancome mascara, Tide pods--plus today I received a 15% off coupon. I have never gotten anything exra from QVC

You hit the nail on the head. They care about their service and have great vendors. The are the best for NFL team shop items and I love they've started carrying Birkenstocks.

I recently placed an order with HSN and I love what I received and I got some free samples and a $5 off coupon. I will be ordering from HSN again.

Not to mention their terrific clearance prices and very often free shipping, and as a bonus here we pay no tax on online orders on HSN.

Plus they seem to have an awesome, robust computer system that always works!!!!!!!!!!!! (Among many other good things, some of which have already been mentioned.)

I agree---free samples, coupons and/or codes, fast shipping. I returned an item a couple weeks ago--instead of using the HSN return label, I sent it first class mail and paid for it. I had my refund in TWO DAYS!!!!!!! Granted, I live in VA, just a few hundred miles from the return center, but I was STILL SHOCKED AND TOTALLY IMPRESSED!

PS I also like Lysse, Serena, Bzees and more....

I find HSN's audio and hosts unwatchable after a few minutes. It has a tacky low-rent feel to me.I've purchased a few things but I do not go to HSN for clothes, jewelry (omg so ugly IMO).

I've not had any issues with QVC that others complain about, but that is not saying they do not occur. I think their television production value is far superior.

I don't know if HSN has an online forum, since I haven't frequently shopped with them I wouldn't post or read one if they did. I am not their frequent customer, why bother IYKWIM.

Yes, not only do they have an incredible variety, but I am constantly get coupons either via email or in the mail. Also, I return things using my own label and within a week I am credited. The Q sometimes takes up to a month. What the heck is up with that?!

I am glad some have good luck with HSN. I no longer order from them because I was tired of receiving used merchandise (shoes with gum stuck on the bottom, filthy sandals with scrapes on the leather) or poor packaging and receiving broken items (Too Faced Peach Highlighter, Jay King necklace with broken bead, Heidi Daus necklace with broken bead, and a Joan Boyce necklace with a broken bead). What finally sent me over the edge was a pair of jeans clearly worn because the previous buyer hemmed them. In addition, they left their To Do list in the back pocket. I know they had some shipping issues last summer when they switched over to an automated warehouse but the used merchandise is still an ongoing issue. I think QVC offers better quality items, many found at higher end stores. I've only received excellent service from QVC but I can't say the same about HSN. 99% of my shopping is done at the Q and I couldn't be happier. For those who say HSN doesn't charge sales tax - read your state income tax form. All states require that you report items you've bought and didn't pay sales tax. I appreciate QVC collecting the sales tax with each purchase so I don't have to keep track and pay when I file my taxes.

I definintely agree that returns are lightening fast, lots of free shipping and flex pays. The customer service is terrific even with the chat feature online. They are always so helpful and nice. Best of all I do like that they send 20% codes a lot and that really helps. One more thing----they actually refund shipping with return unlike QVC that does not do that. Free shipping, flex pay and coupons---what's not to love

I just went over there to look at the Birkenstock. They don't have the beautiful flowered one's like I used to buy on QVC. I wish QVC would start selling them again.

I have at least (maybe more now) 100 pair of Birkenstock shoes....many of them are bright flowers, many different styles. I have some plain ones like HSN is selling but they are boring. I get a lot of compliments on them (matching with the clothes).

For some reason when I wear the Birkenstock my back doesn't hurt as much.

Have sign up but so far I haven't ordered. I did like that 1000 watt mixer Paula Dean had and I kept thinking about getting it until it sold out. Most likely will get it the next time I see it.

I like HSN's free shipping on many items. Also, when a (for example) vendor of beauty products is on that day, usually all of that vendor's items have free shipping. I don't order clothing from HSN but seems when they have sales, their items are really discounted--not just a couple of dollars.
