I think she saw the writing on the wall.....she probably realized she wasn't getting a show of her own and figured she wasn't going to be the next big star on the Q (whatever that means...)and maybe was getting tired of getting lame shows and taking a back seat to a lot of over hyped hosts. Plus better to bow out before your contract isn't renewed too. Whatever her next endeavor is I hope it is successful.

I predict several hosts will be leaving. I just don't think QVC is the same company they were several years ago. I think they're making it harder for the hosts to do their job...

All I know is there has been complaint after complaint on the boards about her being flirty with the vendors, talking over the vendors,being overly loud and obnoxious, etc. Maybe the Q finally got the message.

LR may have a position for Albany in her company. LR spoke very highly of Albany when she was the Diva on QVC.

That's too bad as I do like Albany, and I felt that she has improved so much over the last year. She is great on the Fitness shows, you can tell she knows what she is talking aboout and really is into Fitness...I hope she finds her niche. Best Wishes to Albany!

I left a "good" job for those very same reasons, and I could not be happier.

Albany will be a shining light in her sphere, however and with whomever she decides. She appears to me to be an exceptional individual.

Could it be that Albany was neither fired for being a flirt, etc. or quit because she wasn't getting her own show? We left out the possibility that she just felt like moving on to something else. We'll never know....unless she shows up on another shopping channel. We're not remembering how many people were laid off from QVC. They're not doing well financially to say the least. It may be that they're cutting loose any "dead wood"...the least popular hosts to have the money to raise salaries of others to keep them. You know about contract negotiations. Usually when they do fire hosts, they have hired others who are in training & I haven't noticed any new faces sharing shows w/ experienced hosts to get the hang of it. In fact Alberti & Elise were never replaced on the Q when they were placed on BEAUTY IQ. The hosts that are left will be given really long hours to fill in these voids. I feel sorry about that. High pay isn't worth high stress. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

I like Albany, she had a lot of energy & enthusiasm & personality.

Maybe some other host didn't like the competition, I write with tongue-in-cheek.

Anyway, I'll be shocked if her replacement is any better.

If she did not leave by choice, that's sad. There are other hosts far less enjoyable. Beyond that, I enjoyed her, though I didn't see her very often.
