The Once Mighty Q sent us the email! Can you stand it! Apparently they think this is something to get excited about! What, you ask?! Why its none other than five! full! hours!... Count 'em! FIVE! of David in that freakin' kichen! This Sunday!... A challenge I know, but do try to contain yourselves. Save some of that excitement for the show. You'll need it...

Hooray can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!Since Christmas been over that will be the first 5 hours of QVC that I have watched, love David that means 5 hours less of jewelry, overpriced purses, and clothes so has to be good!!!!!!!! worth a double "happy dance"

But Stevie my dear friend don't you know if takes that long to share all the "wonderful" receipies, soups, and sauces you can make with VITAMIX......afterall it's more than a blender.........maybe it can even shovel snow.....

I think I'll take a clue from Jasper and find something else to do....like staring out a window might even be more exciting.....

I think QVC must've moved the Vitamix factory to West Chester this item is on so much.......

Not for a minute and as for the morethanablender please, buy early and buy often. May they sell them all and be forced into something less frequently presented and less boring... it wouldn't take much to satisfy either criteria... I assume we'll be seeing another weekend update from Spurt, but until then, suffice it to say, another stinko Q weekend experience... In the garden all day on Saturday and in the kitchen all day on Sunday... Talk about your stereotypes! Who are we, June Cleaver and Donna Reed...?

I have PLENTY of things to do other than watch TV, (ANY TV) so it does't matter to me, I only turn it on if something actually interests me AND do not worry or moan about it when there isn"t anything on.

How very nice for you! I would doubt most of us turn it on when there's something scheduled we don't want to see... I know I don't. I suppose the point is this IS The Q Did What forum, where we're invited to tell them precisely what we think and, believe it or not, some of us do so, letting them know we think the weekend programming could use a serious review... Just as folks are invited not to tune in when not interested, folks aren't forced to endure the moaning on The Q Did What... Truly, it cuts both ways...

I'm psyched! I also love the kitchen shows and watch every chance I get. It always inspires me to try new recipes, use a lot of my beautiful kitchen items, and spend more time in one of my favorite places.

Slap me silly, I guess I forgot just have VERY versatile THE morethanablender truly is... Regardless, I won't be enduring even a single hour, much less five, in that kitchen. NO yum yum faces, NO happy dances, and will be spending precisely NO time spent watching them futzing with that freakin' blender. And YES, at the end of the day, it's just a freakin' blender... and an expensive one. I can only hope they have one in orchid. I'm assuming they MUST surely have the color of the year represented.

I understand what the forum is for, And yes, I agree, the programing could use an update, but obviously this formula works or it would not be this way. AND yes, I think there are ALOT of people on this forum that watch ALOT regardless what is on..There are posters who can tell you every show that every host did and what they wore on every show that they did and what they said on every show. Just making a point, if you do not like what is on, don't watch ....

I have lots of other things to do, too, but I used to like to watch the Q in days past, and now that it has become one long infomercial I like to b*#ch about it, ok?

While I am sucker for kitchen gadgets and cookbooks, particularly those of Southern cooking, ITKWD has become so predictable, that I don't watch any more other than to check out, in advance, what cookbook will be on. It is overpriced potstickers, KIND bars, Keurig, Vitamix MTAB, Temp-tations ad nauseum, choppers, nut mixes, etc.

Katie, glad to see you're among us... How did things go down your way? As for ITK, yes, like so much else on the Q, it's gotten completely formulaic and is usually redundant. I can't fathom how the show (and several others) still has a core of regular viewers. Not only has it become annoying, but it's just the same thing all the time...
