Good Deeds

How great it would be if each person on here did a good deed for someone everyday.

I am doing my good deed for the day by wishing everyone on here a wonderful blessed day! Oh and I held a lot of doors open for people today.

Let me know your good deeds.

Yes, it would. I took our furbaby to the vet to check out a watery eye. Poor baby has an infection and is on an antiobodic......hope he does better soon.

My little fur baby was chewing all his fur out and had to have a shot of cortisone hopefully to stop the itching.
I hope they both do well and I share your love for our Fur Babies!

I think that will be another good deed. I will make a donation to an animal organization locally.

Bless his heart, hope he gets better real soon. My baby has followed me around ever since we got home from the vet. Hope he is not too traumatized.

I work with a young mother who is a single parent. She was telling me that she had to cut back on little things, like snacks for her daughter's lunch. She does provide a lunch but she was trying to cut back on unnecessary things. On my next trip to the grocery store, I bought some extra things (fruit cups, pudding cups, crackers and cheese, etc.) Brought them in for her. I told her that were things my daughter had purchased but she recently moved out and left this stuff behind and I would not eat them. She was thrilled.

I wonder if it ever occurred to the young mother that she could make pudding, bake cookies, and make other homemade snacks? Everything doesn't have to be prepackaged which adds a lot to the expense.

Kachina624, That is a good idea but sometimes young single mothers work more than one job and don't have time to bake.

Sparklestar it is wonderful what you did. Imagine if we could all fill a small bag once a week and take it to a local school how many children would get a snack that normally would not get one. Sparkle, this could be something you could do at work, get it started with your co-workers and thank you for sharing your wonderful good deed.

Thank you. I've been there and it's hard. I feel bad for children and elderly people that don't have enough food. I see so much food wasted and it just should not happen. My daughter is a teacher and some of the things she tells me about children who don't have enough to eat just breaks my heart.
