For 2017, What Do You Want From QVC.com Website?

This is not asking for complaints about the website, but what new or improved feature you most want, if it can be done.

I would really love to be able to search by color names. I know there are generic color categories, but the designer lines of clothing have their own color names. I want to easily find pieces that match!

For a website this big, even small changes can be big projects, but who knows? Maybe if a lot of us want some of the same things, they may put it on the list.

Sometimes the measurements of the sizes do not make sense to me. Right now, I am looking at A277375, Isaac's 5-pocket wide leg jeans, and the hip measurements are very small. I would like explanations on how to buy products like this. I have asked vendors on FB but never get an answer.

I often filter by brand, category, then size. Over half the results don't have the size I filtered by. I waste a lot of time clicking into items to see if it's the right size. I usually give up after going through 15 or so that the size isn't available. I highly doubt the size is sold out in the short time I search.

In my experience with this type of search, you find an item in the color you requested, but they're sold out of your size.

Most sites where there are lots of brands (like amazon or nordstrom) have a feature on a product page that allows you to click on the brand name which is linked to the brand's entire product group. It's just easier to search that brand's entire inventory that way.

My biggest wish, however, would be for the feature that sets videos to load first to be disabled. Permanently. For one thing, it slows down loading and secondly, I am perfectly capable of selecting "video" if that's what I want to see first!

@gardensla thank you for bringing up the auto play Video. I despise it. I should not have to adjust my computer settings in order to disable this. If someone wants the video, they should be able to click on it to play it. I have not seen any other shopping site do this. Videos are usually something you select separately.

When I click on an item, I'd rather see a photo first rather than the video.

There needs to be an overhaul of product videos. So many times they feature hosts talking about other things and even other products before they talk about the product I clicked on. Trim these videos down to where they just focus on the featured product.

They need to update photos and change out the website photos more often.

The homepage can be very cluttered at times. Way too busy! They need to streamline that.

Finally, I'd like to see more consistency when it comes to this forum, the QVC Community.

Thanks @tototwo! Do you have it set so that the most recent post is first? In the old forums, we could see the OP first then the recent posts after that.

I would like to see the actual sizes in inches for storage containers such as Lock and Lock. They always state the capacity in ounces or cups, but not the actual sizes of the containers. Since most containers are stored on a shelf when not in use, it would be helpful if we knew how much space they would take. I have requested this in the Suggestiion Box, but rarely see the dimensions in the description.

1) search that filters to the sizes I can fit into, that option saves time

2) to fix the screen from jumping by removing those banners that take extra time to load

3) having the picture of the item be featured & not a still shot of the video of hosts, (some are blurred and others have hideous faces because they're stuck in motion until you play it)

Please bring the "click to compare" option back. I would like to be able to see a variety of products (such as sweaters from various vendors) and compare them side by side. Nice thread. Hopefully our QVC mods wil pass the information along.

I fully agree @gardensla. The only improvement that might trump that would be a really good search feature, which has always been sorely lacking.

Thumbnails showing all available colors beneath the main photo. You shouldn't have to click an item open to see if there are more colors available.

This would apply not only to fashion but to shoes, kitchen ware, rrugs, beddng, etc.

I would like to be able to copy and paste product images into this forum with more ease. I know it's a bit simpler with a PC but on my MAC the only way to copy an image is to take a screenshot and save it to my desktop, then upload. This is due to the mouseover features which is automatic.

We used to be able to upload images (on a MAC) with the URL image that was provided in the tool bar. During the most recent revamp, that went away.
