For those of us old-timers who remember the old QVC, yes the new QVC is painful.

Times change. I miss the old QVC, it was a lot of fun, not the constant info-mercial it is now. The assortment was better, Q was always looking for new & different items to present. The hosts had personality back then (Mike Rowe), not the boring robots today, repeating colors and units sold.

I have already said bye pretty much as I only see Q when channel surfing. I used to buy a lot, but it's been a long time. So much Dooney an other products over and over, as you said. I used to buy a lot of gifts, because there were things I didn't see everywhere else. Now, it's different. I suppose it's the direction the CEO wants, but there seems to be a lot of dissatisfaction according to these boards. I want Silver Style back, not just designers, and all of the designers are basically also making the same clothes--seen one, seen them all. It's too bad, imo, but unfortunately, QVC no longer interests me. And I don't think I"m the only one.

Among all of the repetitive stuff the Q sells I've ferreted out some things that I really like. I check the new items and if I see something I'm interested in I might watch the show (or later watch the video). Otherwise I don't watch the Q so I'm not affected by all the repetition. I never knew the Q in the early days that everyone mentions was better so I guess I don't miss what I don't know.

What's with all the negativity against QVC lately? I realize how some might feel but this isn't the first post started against the Q.. I find it very curious is all.

I rarely watch a full show, unless it's Linea, have not in years. I review what has been aired, what is new, and if something I'm interested in watch the videos. This is one of the benefits of the internet age. Will admit I buy less and less but that is primarily because my lifestyle has changed and don't need or want as much.

I noticed too @Suziepeach. Lots of Q bashing, I even wonder if some of it is by shills for other companies. I think it happens around Christmas time every year.

I agree. I never watch QVC much anymore as programing is so stale. Who needs three hours of D&B? Three hours of ANYTHING is too much!

I rarely watch anymore. My tastes have changed since I started watching QVC in the mid/late -1990s. I'm no longer in the market for the kinds of things that QVC is selling.
