Oreck replacement filters????

How crazy is it for QVC to sell Oreck air purifiers, but not the replacement filters??? I paid $125 for one and can't find replacement filters. Shame on QVC and Oreck!

Go to Oreck.com. I do not know what type of filter you need, but they are on sale.

yea for the Orecks vacuums and oreck air purifiers I bought from QVC, I have had to call Oreck directly for the replacement filters. If you dont know the part number just get the model number when calling Oreck.. Sometimes can find them on E-Bay and other sites sometimes for alittle less. When I did see the filters/bags on QVC I stocked up alot as I knew they would eventually stop selling them for whatever reason. (ran out of the purifiers, discontinued etc etc) Definately can get them from Oreck. If you have a store near to you great or if not they will mail them to your door.

@wvumountiefan I was watching a presentation a month or so ago for an Oreck air purifier that was a closeout ....a caller asked the show host if they would have replacement filters for them...and the host said he was not sure and to ask the CS rep about it.... I agree that selling the last of a model no longer made and not clarifying the fact that you can not get replacement parts anymore is just WRONG! I woukd bring this up and ask for a refund. You were duped!

Fortunately we have an Oreck store about five minutes from my house. I am

concerned though that they may also not have replacements for items that are being discontinued after a short time.

I have noticed one thing about QVC, though. When something goes on sale in the way of electronics it's only because they have something upgraded or improved coming up in a few days. Beward the purchase of things that may

be discontinued everywhere.

I don't know about Oreck, but I do know one vacuum I have hasn't been manufactured for years and Hoover has not made its bags for a very long time; however, the vacuum store nearest me which sells and repairs carries lots of bags and they always find one that works for my old machine.

You expect QVC to sell replacement parts and accessories for every single item they have ever sold? Serioiusly? Do you hold other retailers to te same standard? Target? Wal-Mart? Kohls?

As others have idicated, the filters are available at both Oreck and Amazon, an a simple Google search wil find multiple other retailers, so why get upset with QVC?

I have purchased Oreck products from QVC in the past and never once thought about also ordering bags and filters from them as well. I agree with the Oreck stores, or ebay for this. I'm sure it's a much better.

I have purchased my Oreck replacement bags at either Walmart or a vacuum cleaner "store" that is close to me. Amazon sounds like a good idea, also.

I just checked and QVC sells replacement filters for these models of air purifiers: V33326, V33955, and V34489
