Jane's Red Hair

Gosh, I really hope the unnatural red hair is temporary. It is NOT flattering.

I enjoy Jane; she has such a "real" personality. The neon red hair doesn't do anything for her.

I admire her guts for giving it a try but I really, really don't care for it.

I have seen her hair red before. I don't care for it either, but seriously, she should wear it if it makes her happy.

I'm sure it was only done for the Rose of Tralee shows so she could be a cute lil' red-haired Irish lass.

Jane seems to change both her hair color and hairstyle as often as many people change nail polish. Since she invariably chooses colors/shades so dark they look very artificial, it rarely looks like anything approaching natural.

@Moonchilde I never thought of that about the rose of tralee shows. That sounds like a good reason. I would love to see her grow it out a little. I do think we all have to wear our hair and dress in what makes us comfortable. Not everyone is going to like everything.

I saw it and I assumed it was for some show. If she likes it she should wear it. As for me I don't think it would be something I would go for. And this is from a gal who used to change her hair color every two weeks.

Don't get me wrong, y'all - I love red hair! I AM a redhead myself. I just don't care for colors that aren't found in nature, lol.

One thing it shows that Jane is not "boring" in a sense. She seems to enjoy reinventing herself, especially with hair dos and such. Good for her, I say.

That's part of it with me - I've never cared for the deliberately artificial colors. They are what they are on 20-somethings, but several decades on I just dislike it - and the darkness - akin to the recent thread about womem deliberately dyeing their hair as artificially dark as possible, and that as one ages, this is not the best look.

It's a personal preference. Jane can, and will, do whatever she chooses to do with her hair. I'm not required to think it's attractive and she's not required to care what I think, but I can still have my opinion 😎

And my hair was dyed auburn for years. No one ever questioned its "authenticity" because I have the complexion to go with it.

I think Jane should do what ever makes her happy...which is what I'll bet she is doing. Me, I don't like that short hair only on very few women who are edgy vogue models who would probably look good bald because of their features. I don't know why when women reach a certain age they feel they have to chop off all their hair...to me it looks harsh and severe. Again, just my opinion and I think each person should please themselves.

I think Jane is getting a little long in the tooth to wear those shocking bright hair colors. I think when you get older you look better doing less to enhance yourself. Look at the older gray haired models, they are beautiful. I have an idea Joann the model is way past 60 and she is beautiful. IMO soft wins out over harsh any day and at any age.

I've watched Jane since she first came to QVC and she's always had problems with her hair. I don't think it's easy for her to style. Frankly I didn't even notice the color on Irish Day. Thought she looked good, but she does like to change it up a bit.... good for her, we should all change things and make ourselves feel good.... a change is as good as a rest!
