Is it just me?

I haven't watched much of any programming on QVC anymore, but have watched a little on and off this weekend.

More than once flipping over and they are selling Poo-Pourri in a Christmas show?

Am I the only person on earth that would be offended if someone gifted me Poo-Pourri? I just don't get it.........

Well, I bought it awhile ago, when it was offered in a "while supplies last" multi set. I wanted to try it (for my own home) and it was the best price I could find.

And having used it? I wouldn't be without it now. If someone "gifted" me some, I'd say thank you! I do know they often say to gift it as a "gag" gift and that after that, the recipient will find that it's no "gag" at all. It works and it's much better than chemical sprays.

No, I do not think this is an appropriate item to give as a gift, unless it is clearly a gag gift. Even if it useful does not mean it should be given as gift, tampax are useful too but I wouldnt gift them.

My daughter bought a bottle, it smells nice

I haven't used it for it's itended purpose but used it to spray the garbage bag in thekitchen when someone (spouse) put shrimp shells in there.

Maybe it's not a gift everyone would give or everyone would want to get - but it has some aspects I like: it's practical, it's not in every supermarket, it's consumable (I won't feel guilty if it's gone in a few months), and it's not terribly expensive.

No, @kittymom56, it's not just you. I think it's offensive that it's even sold on a TV shopping channel. I'm sure it's a great product and many people use it, but very inappropriate to be sold on TV. And yes, I would be offended if I received it as a gift.

I wouldn't buy it as a gift, but it is a good product.

I recently bought some, specifically for use in our downstairs bathroom. We do have a fan in this bathroom, vented to the outside. However, a little birdie family has taken residence in the outside vent. A lot of activity, to and from this nest. So, not wanting to destroy the nest and babies, our fan cannot be used. This product works!

@kittymom56, I don't know that I'd be offended, but I'd be amused by the gift.

I do find it to be an extremely odd thing to be presenting during Christmas shows, and I don't watch the presentations. I watched one or two when it first came out, and that was enough.

I thought it was for YOU to purchase because of all the extra guests you'll have in your home for the holidays. Surely someone in that crowd would qualify for use of this product. Put it in your bathroom and let them decide.
