What??? Cleaning show confusing

This morning I left the TV on when I heard Pat say she had an hour of cleaning ideas coming up next, as I am revving up for Spring cleaning ... but then, what the heck? Why did Q program the show in such a confusing way? First up, special microfiber rags that clean with just water! Cool. But wait, then 30 white blocks, just add water, safe and cleans everything! But wait, there's more ... clay cleaner that's bio safe, it cleans all the same things, in fact, the demo used the same (dirty) green tile and grout as was used on the previous product. Which one is better/best? Oh wait, now there's another "perfect cleaner" ... whaaaat? LOL! Poor Pat managed to make sense through all of it, but the real message was clear -- it doesn't matter which you order, so don't bother. LOL! Seriously, I realize Q sells lots of competing items, but not ususally one right after the other unless they point out what is different somehow. But Pat couldn't differentiate these items, they were all claiming the same things --- just water, safe, cleans everything! It was just confusing, and unintentionally funny; and bottom line, I didn't buy any of 'em!!

There is no rhyme or reason for anything they do. It's clear they need a complete overhaul of their management. I suspect, because it was a cleaning show, they didn't want to allow any one vendor/manufacturer to have a sizeable time slot so they lumped them all into one show--JMO. I don't buy cleaning products from them. I like to disinfect when I clean and cleaning with just water doesn't cut it.

I don't find it confusing that a company like QVC offers a variety of products. I know people who clean with water only and I know some who use all kinds of products.

I fall somewhere in between, but I don't want anyone telling me there's just one way. I'm quite happy with just a microfiber cloth and water as I work through the livingroom and dining room and my study. I'm not as convinced that's all I need in the kitchen and bathrooms.

I want to make my own choices whether I'm shopping at the supermarket, some big box store, or QVC.

I wonder - does OP think her favorite supermarket should sell only one kind of cleaning product for each task?

Sounds like Q is competing with itself or the products with each other. No wonder customers are confused.

Maybe most viewers do not watch QVC for hours on end, or perhaps, some shoppers prefer one product over another.

When I go to the supermarket, I can find dozens of different laundry detergents, dish detergents, paper towels, etc. I do not see anyoe here complaining that supermarkets offer too uch variety of products which essentially do the same thing.

I saw that show and thought it was just a matter of personal preference with a few products to pick from. When you go down the cleaning isle at Target.... you find more than one product that does the same thing! I usually pick my favorite. That's how I look at QVC and what they present..... (I like the clay product!).... .
