Sorry if this is repetitive, but what exactly is the illness Jackie has that would not allow her to work for 4-5 months???? Anyone know? I usually don't follow facebook but did thing I saw something of a Vitamina D insufficiency?? If that is the case, that can be quickly remedied in 1-2 weeks time with medication.

She hasn't disclosed and doesn't need to.

That's a rather broad statement. I also have a deficiency and it takes way more than 1-2 weeks to get those numbers up. It can take months at a very high prescription dose.

But again, we don't know why Jacque is out. It will be nice to have her back next Month.

Jacque said in the video that she had a vitamin d deficiency, but she added that she had other issues as well. I agree that vitamin d is not her reason for an extended leave.

Lacking Vitamin D can cause a few problems.

Loading her up on D can also be a problem if not handled right.

Kidney Stones will be the first to rise...

Hope she wil be fine but honestly, I didn't know she was even gone....

Bless her heart. Vitamin D deficiency can be very serious. I know that she has been out quite a few times before because knee and/or foot surgery. I am concerned because she seems to have some health issues lately and she is so young. But, I know you don't have to be a certain age to have them. I wish her good health and, hopefully, she won't be out again and get her health back on track.

I was glad to see Jacque on her FB saying she would be coming back soon. I was really concerned for her and her health. I was her age when I diagnosed with a chronic illness and was hoping that wasn't true in her case. I miss her and I wish her well.

These hosts should know by now they can't have it both ways, either they want their privacy or they want to be popular. I don't know why they just can't come to work and do their job instead of talking nonsense to fill time. JG is ill, she's off work for an extended period of time, enough said.

People burn out and one doesn't rebuild overnite..It takes time and balance and family and Doctors working together..Jacque has a loving family and she is fortunate to be allowed to take this time to heal..We just pray with her and let her know we care..

I agree that it's only Jacque's business why she is away, whether it's about vitamin D or anything else.

I also agree that it can take a long time to correct a vitamin D deficiency. Not always as simple as taking mega-doses. Speaking from experience...

I agree with the posters that say the host wants it both ways, they want their privacy and we are not allowed to discuss them even if they hint at things that may be wrong. They go on social media giving snips of things but if you ask them straight out you get poofed. IF you don't want to be talked about, whispered about or asked questions then just quietly have an announcement that you are taking some R & R and leave it at that!

Get off social media if you don't want to be social and tell the truth when asked.

A host or anyone else should be allowed to post on social media without eliciting a rash of gossip. If a host choses to allude to some illness or problem, which she or he may think is preferable to silence, that doesn't make it polite or kind for others to speculate or start rumors.

And I wonder what compels people to do so, anyway. I get that some feel that they know the hosts, that they have some proprietary interest in them. But these TV personalities are not your friends or relatives.
