Is Joy Mangano overexposed?

I swear HSN treats her like a goddess. They said Joy has some of the highest yearly sales in all electronic retailing with 165 million. She's pimped like crazy I don't she ever got this royal treatment. Now with the Joy movie she's at the premiere on GMA. Thus weekend on HSN she relaunches the miracle mop. She's always stating her numbers and we are making tv history with these numbers. She is overexposed anyone agree

Of course they treat her like a goddess making that kind of money for them - she deserves it! I wish I had such great ideas. She knows how to sell, sell, sell.

I know there is a movie, but I haven't seen Joy herself in any of the commercials or talk shows, so I don't see how she's overexposed.

Maybe viewers of HSN are seeing her too much? That I'd never know - I don't binge watch the shopping channels and I haven't see Joy at all for several months.

I go with not overexposed -- or maybe not exposed at all. Jusrt doing a job - and apparently doing it really, really well. Is that bad?

I think HSN is celebrating that movie by pushing her merchandise. Why not? Like mentioned before, I am a channel flipper to these channels so I don't feel like I'm seeing a lot of her.

Why are you so concerned about the attention Joy is receiving? I am sure if this were Lisa Robertson, you would be ecstatic.

I....can't....stand....her. Most irritating person I've EVER watched on TV. That's including her time on QVC years ago and her over-the-top ego on HSN now. I purchased one thing from her way back in the day (QVC), a bakery box and never, ever again. She could be selling express tickets to heaven and I'd have to pass.....

Sound like a broken record, but love her or hate her, there is no denying the sales that she has made. Of course HSN will take the opportunity of the movie publicity to push more of her merchandise. She can be annoying but she seems like a nice person. I'm sure there are many at HSN who are fond of her and are happy to share in her joy regarding her accomplishments and the movie. She's been there a long, long time.

Sometimes I can only take so much of her on air but I'd rather watch someone like Joy than someone with their nose up in the air who acts like everyone should bow down in their presence. Any day.

Maybe it depends on how much home shopping a person watches. I haven't seen her in many years and have no interest in the movie, so no over exposure for me. From what I remember of her sales pitch, she could go toe to toe with Susan Graver on who owns the stage.

When she's scheduled to be on HSN, it seems like she's on 18 hours out of 24; so overexposed then, for sure. I tend to avoid even cruising by HSN on those days.

I have bought a few of her products I like, one that was a total waste of $$. I cannot watch her for 2 minutes. I hit Mute and then decide if I'm interested by reading the web page; usually not.

I believe I've heard that she either is currently or has been on their board of directors so she's an HSN rock star. She's a highly successful, if obnoxious, purveyor of junk.

I agree, hangers are great but everything else I've gotten or heard about has been junk. The worst was her luggage which was an expensive disaster.
