Help QVC Social - Notifications Poofed Again Today

I just had a message that I had one Notification. When I clicked on Notifications I got this message in a gray box. So they are gone again:

You don't have any notifications. Try posting a new topic or question to see some activity here.

Has happened to me also, checked later & they appeared

i agree- there's a "sometimes" problem with notifications. I sometimes click on it and get a message such as "no notifications" (even though the indicator said that I had some), but then I click on Notifications a second time and it works. Didn't used to be this way.

I have the same message and all notifications are gone. Maybe this happens when we respond to a thread that is then proofed.

5 minutes later and they are all back except for the ones associated with a proofed thread.

In the QVC Suggestion Box forum, I just started this Moderators - Notifications still being poofed again intermittently thread. -- In the past I've found that this is the fastest way to let them know about an ongoing issue.

As has been entioned before, when the Notification box indicates that you have Notifications, sometimes when you click on it you can see the notifications... but other times it shows no notifications at all for any day.

This is the work around I've been using for the past few days...

Generally, If I then click on the forum header (e.g. Beauty, Fashion, Suggestion Box, Q Talk. etc.) and then I click on the Notification listing once again, I can see my notifications. It's a work around, but not the ideal, long term solution.

These are two additional threads from the Q Talk forum addressing this issue: Notifications went poof???? (from December 24th) and Help QVC Social - Notifications Poofed Again Today (from December 26th).

I'm guessing that QVC probably just has a skeleton moderator and IT staff for this holiday weekend, and so this issue may not be resolved until early next week.

This is an update from Brittany at 1pm ET today (saturday) that she posted on the Moderators - Notifications still being poofed again intermittently thread (in the QVC Suggestion Box forum)...

It's just me and Kim in today, since it's a Saturday... I'll e-mail Eva to let her know that you are experiencing issues with the notifications again. I'll be out tomorrow and the next day, but she should see it when she comes in.

Thanks for the update. It was my thought, too, that they were understaffed due to the holiday weekend. Good to know that the mods are aware of the tech problem and it will be resolved ASAP.

Notifications are down completely on my computer at least, since 9-ish this morning. I had over 20 notifications that disappeared, nothing would pull them up, have received several more since that time and they haven't shown up at all. This is added just for further info for IT to see. Thanks, @bebe777.

I know the support team's been well aware of this since it began a few days ago, particularly because they use the Notification feature. The easiest "fix" for us until the real "fix" shows up:

Just click the word "Notifications" several times and eventually your list will appear.

It's funny that when we first got the notifications I didn't care anything about them, now.....I miss them. Please get them fixed ASAP, @QVCSocialTeam.

I just got one of the little "notification" sgnals in the lower right hand corner of my iPad screen, and I feel as though I were DUPED! I want to know what my "hearter" was "hearting" me for, AND THERE'S NOTHING THERE!

A minute ago, upon receiving a notification, I reloaded the notification page and viola, there they were. They aren't there now, so guess this only works if there is a new notification .

I just received an update that the techincal team has applied a fix to the notifications function. I am hoping the problem is now resolved.

Please let me know if you still experience any problems with viewing notifications.
