topic Gift Card ....Easy Pay in Q Talk

I found out this morning you can't use a gift card on an iterm and use easy pay also. I had wanted to apply my $50 gift card to the first easy pay and the balance of that 1st and the remaining payments to my normal credit card. I don't understand exactly why that was not possible, but it made me re-think the purchase and decided not to buy the item.
