ID security roller please help

I want to order the ID rollers that you use to block out your personal information.

for the life of me I can not find it on the Q site.

Would someone tell me the exact name of this product or the item number.

I just want to warn you not to expect peerfection. It does work fine on flat surface paper, but I find it not so good on QVC labels and anything else with a sheen. I have a couple of them, and I do use them, but often I also go over the address with a large black Sharpie.

I have found these ID security rollers to be extremely easy to use, but you do need to put the item on a flat surface, and yes, they don't work on "glossy" type paper.

I also find using these rollers is much faster than shredding for certain things. I get so many catalogs so all I need to do is glide the roller over my address on the back cover of the catalog (and also on the inside order form) and then toss the whole thing into the recycling bin. Before I got these rollers, I had to tear off the address portion and then shred it which I found more inconvenient for me.

So, some things I "roll" and some things I shred.

I just toss all the catalogs. I'm not too concerned about my address & name on it. I'm more concerned with shredding things that have ss#, birthday, credit card #'s, checking account # & that type thing.

I also roll and shred. But have to say, after using the roller, I have to let the ink dry or it gets on everything!!

Just wanted to reply that the rollers are perfect for old prescription bottles where the labels are glued on. Those can't be shredded. That's primarily why I bought it.

I use a jumbo sized black sharpie permanent pen.....it has a wide tip....covers everything. Costs Bout $3.00.

I can see through magic markers. I shred for the most part.

I think markers and the rollers are more for keeping the professionals from stealing your ID. A lot of that is scanned and they will confuse the scanners.

Just fyi, you can find these in the As Seen on TV aisle in many stores. I've seen them in Walgreens and they are much cheaper.
