David left early?

I saw a social media post saying David went home early on Sundat's show. Did they mention if he is sick?

Hope he's not come down with the C.Diff bacteria strain.

I've been going thru that since mid June. Colon pain.

Went to the MEC center after thinking it would go away on it's own. It didn't. Put on antibiotics at that point they figured it was a bacterial invasion , but, didn't pin point it.

Helped for a few days then came back with a vengence

as soon as you can stay away from the bathroom with the help of immodium you go to your regular Dr.

He was amazed I could still stand. BP was 80/56 lost

7 pds. Took blood test, stool sample. Work up.

Put on the right antibiotic I take for 10 days 4X a day

Vancomycin I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and feeling myself again and getting back appetite.

@SharkE OMG what an awful ordeal you're going through. Any idea how this happened? I sure hope you're 100% soon.

It's confusing. First time ever went thru this serious of a common thing. We all have gone thru having diarrhea

because of something we ate. Last few days and your fine. This your talking about a whole new horror.

RPH told me there's a flap in your "gut" that usually stays closed to invading bad bacteria. This time it opened and in rushed the bad bacteria, overwhelmed the good bacteria, multiplied at alarming rate.

Hard to understand. I've researched it online thinking I had gotten it from public restrooms or Walmart cart handles. I was pretty sure I didn't have that bacterial infection in the news right now think it's called Cylorspora. Don't eat lettuce, raspberries, etc. After they took the stool sample they knew exactly what it

was and is common in nursing homes, hospitals.

I haven't been to either. I'm not going to any catered dinners. That's an open invitation to weeks of sickness

The church in Nov. will have Thanksg. meal. I've already planned the only things I will be eating is my own homemade bread, smoked turkey, mashed potatoes.

I feel sorry for vegetarians . Always a recall on something. How can 1 eat healthy when they're raised

in contaminated water, and worse.

My friend told me that at a catered **** Club buffet

50 people came down with E coli. Seems like the only thing that is safe is crackers and junk food !

Just be careful and think before you eat salads and

at public events.

Isn't it awful to be so sick and home alone with nobody to fetch and carry for you? That's why. I try to stay very healthy and get all the available immunizations.

Remember the 2026 mantra, "don't eat the lettuce" and get better soon.

@SharkE Our son has been going through something for probably two months now. He has felt bloated with on and off diarrhea. He went to a nurse practitioner who had him bring in a stool sample. It was all negative. He went to his normal doctor who gave him some sort of stomach relaxant and an antibiotic. He said he felt better for a few days but is now back to how he was before. What the heck is going on?

@Puppy Lips They sent my sample off to a Lab and they match it up with a big long graph of potential culprits.

Mine matched up with C. Diff. I didn't have any solid to submit . Just a discolored bits and pieces mess.

In the early stages you see nothing , but, green, then, yellow (everything is being flushed out so fast the bile ducts don't have time to convert it to brown). Your body is trying to rid itself of the invading bad bacteria that has taken oven that you can't keep nothing in you.

I was on the BRAT DIET in the early stages they recommend that to be gentle on your system.

R RICE

A APPLESAUCE

T TOAST

Stay hydrated, plenty of water because your losing tons of

water.

Vacomycin capsules. Miracle pill. I'm taking 4 times daily for 10 days.

It's kicking the rear of the C. Diff bacteria.

One pill every 6 hrs. around the clock. I take

10a.m.

4p.m.

10 p.m.

4 a.m.

I talked to another pharmacist today at Target

and they said it's highly contagious and you can get

it from public restrooms and surfaces. I don't have kids or animals and a clean person. How I came in contact with this filthy bacteria? I'm thinking about wearing gloves in public and in church where you shake hands with lots of people.

Deceased husband would had been of little to no help even if he was alive and been home. He would have been gone or watching ballgames. He wasn't a care giver type. I've always depended first on Christ then myself and I believe will keep on being the case till I have to go to nursing home.

Only good thing since he was a Pharmacist I would be getting this expensive antibiotic for cost instead of paying 70. In my shape I really don't care what it cost

LOL Running it thru a store coupon bought it down from 100.

You mentioned the bad bacteria taken over the good. Have you tried eating Yogurt or don’t you dare ?

The reason I ask is I had a bad case of acid reflux and tried taken Omeprezole for 2 weeks and didn’t help.

My Husband mentioned having some yogurt one night and the acid reflux never bothered me that night or ever since !! Couldn’t believe it !!

Since then I have Greek yogurt almost every day. Swear it cured Me !!
