I couldn't get the SHOPMAY code to work either. Up popped this list of restrictions on the code:

"...items ordered on Waitlist, “As Is” Price, Clearance Price, Clearance Sale Price, Final Sale Price, Last Chance Price, and Lunchtime Specials® items."
