Apparently over 2,300 people have bought it today.

It looks like a nice mini fan, sleek and compact and easy to store in your bag but for that price it should be a power bank, too. There are other brands that are a power bank and fan in one.

well, look at it from this perspective......

some consumers purchase a hyundai elantra for about 24K.

some consumers purchase a tesla model x for 100K.

and of course, there are many in between.

* a note.....dyson makes quality products. i own their vacuums and their multi function fans.

I have one of the cheap Amazon fans. In no way is it comparable to the Dyson fan.

I don't think it's an odd product. I paid over $350 for a Torras neck air conditioner. I wear it when I jog and it also worked nicely for an outdoor concert where the temperature was 106.

My friend previously purchased (2) of the Dyson Hush Jet Mini Hand Held fans, she loves gardening and even though she wears a sun hat, this fan helps cool her, she gave the other fan to her sister who works part-time at Home Goods who sets up the displays and frequently has to go out to the warehouse to check inventory and wears this fan around her neck during the summer months because the commercial industrial fans just circulate the hot air around.

They're both die-hard Dodger fans and these neck fans are a godsend when the weather is hot while attending the home games, it's been a good investment it seems, I'm thinking about purchasing one for myself.
