Is it just me?

I am really put off with the whole menopause, periods,****** talk with a couple of hosts on the Q. This is a shopping channel. I don't need a sex education class. Maybe it's just me, but I just have to turn the channel. Which is my choice and what I do.

I know others feel as you do @kurlytop since this topic is repeatedly talked about. For me? It's just a part of life and it doesn't bother me at all.

The word "menopause" was NEVER uttered on TV, magazines, or frankly, in any conversations I heard as I was growing up and for most of my adult like. I kind of find it cool that even talking about it has sort of "come out of the closet" so to speak. This type of talk on QVC is sort of refreshing to me - in a strange kind of way. It helps, perhaps, to normalize talking freely about women's bodies and experiences instead of keeping such topics taboo. If you're uncomfortable with that, then switching channels does make perfect sense.

The entire topic of women aging has been done to death on daytime tv, podcasts, magazines and QVC. I watch very little Q and avoid any of those shows.

Fact of life, sure. Fact of the matter: QVC viewers are over it. Boring us to death with takes from the period crypt is just unnecessary at this point. I won’t watch programming around it. I would rather stick a pin in my eye.

The hosts that seem to always be at the center of this type of conversation are not women I would want to be friends with and so I do not watch nor buy their products, I avoid their shows, but since I don't know when they are on I simply do not watch QVC any longer, I check the offerings online where I don't have to hear the cackling.

Sometimes I think it's for shock factor & an attempt to prove their relevancy & their attempt of keeping it real", other times I think it's just silly filler - either way it has become repetitive, redundant & yes ridiculous.

Seems QVC is trying so desperately to be all inclusive to their 50+ campaign to the point of excluding much of their audience.

Menopause has never been taboo to talk about, it just wasn't done on a shopping channel. I don't find it refreshing to continue to only address women over 50. In fact, it has become juvenile and continues to drive viewers away.It is very sexist. What about having topics that concern men over 50. The titanic is going down without knowing how to attract new customers.

Also very off putting is the "Q50" designation on the female host photos under Meet Our Host, but none for the males over 50. Yes, that's sexist. Just eliminate the entire 50 Plus and Age of Possibilities nonsense.

Q has beat this to death. I find it to be ageist and obnoxious and refuse to watch the nonsense.

I also think it's a amusing in a darker way. A 50-something hos is just beginning to age and can't tell me anything that would have helped me.

I wish I knew as much about aging in my 50s and early 60s as I do now.

IMO QVC is relying on social media, e.g. Tik Tok to attract new customers. Don't know what they show but if QVC survives that is their future, not broadcast TV.

I heard Shawn say on a recent show that they know some people don't like these shows. QVC must get more positive feedback than negative to keep it going. Then again, there are people that aren't interested and don't give an opinion either.

I'm so not into hearing about menopause. For me that happened long ago! At 71 I'm glad that I never have to experience a period again!!

I had terrible PMS growing up and I had to go home from school too often since the pain was so bad. Menopause was a breeze for me in comparison. We're all different.

I avoid those shows.

@kaydee50 If these customers are not continuing to purchase, they are not adding anything to their base. I read that Tik Tok isn't doing that much.
