I read a post on Facebooik tonight from "Mally Beauty" that Mally Beauty is shutting down their business. They will still be selling their products on QVC and Amazon while supplies last.

I wonder if that is why we've been seeing more and more of Mally presenting or co-presenting with QVC hosts. Also wonder if she will be the next QVC host. I'm only just wondering based on seeing that post tonight.

Many beauty / cosmetics companies are very close to going bankrupt. I saw an informative YT video about this. Some of the companies or brands that may not be around too much longer include Revlon, Tarte, Anastasia, Urban Decay, Too Faced, among others.

@luvjazzercise - This makes me sad. I think Mally's company started to tank as soon as she sold her company and the new group brought in the head of Victoria's Secret cosmetics to run things.

It must be really hard for Mally to see this happening.

I loved everything about her makeup, and still use a lot of. IDK what I will do without her Face Defender. I use that every day.

I think Mally is already considered a QVC host!

I don't understand how Mally is now on in prime time 3 nights a week when she's not even a real host (or is she?).

She's on menopause Monday, her Thursday show & over 50 on Friday.

Why aren't regular hosts who've been around given these slots? i think any host can sell well in prime time Does Mally really sell that much?

@Goldengate8361 - I find that hard to believe that Revlon and Tarte may not be around longer?

Mally has had Mally Beauty in her rear view window for quite some time. She sold her brand 10 years ago. She was basically a paid promoter of the brand since then.

AS Beauty, the most recent owner of Mally Beauty, shut it down this month.

Mally started promoting other beauty brands on her social media pages in the past year or so. She posts what she has found and loves, and they're usually very reasonably priced items you can find anywhere.

Her focus now is on fashion.

I love her eyeshadow sticks, and the deals they once offered here. Now these can be purchased individually while they last, but they are more expensive. I see them sold on Amazon a bit cheaper, but under the name Evercolor. I may have to try them from there when I run out of my current supply.

I saw that FB post too, yesterday. While I feel bad about the closing of her namesake business, in the long run it might be easier on her to not have to worry about the success of the line, even as a paid spokesperson. As another poster commented, the Beauty biz is not what it once was. There are fast makeup companies breezing in and out of the Sephoras, Ultas and Amazon. The access to more brands spans almost infinitely. Vogue and other publications have articles from last year showing the decline of beauty and makeup sales over the last few years. However, for Mally products, I loved those shadow sticks and her beige lower lash inner rim eyeliner to cancel redness and brighten? The best. Stayed on all day. And that original white tube mascara was my absolute favorite.

She seems to be going through the middle age career change, and that takes courage and faith in herself. I have two of her tops from last year (or year before?) that were the sweaters with sheer ruffle sleeves. They are awesome, wear them a lot for holidays and functions. I hope she does well with her capsule fashion line at Q. I like her, her energy, and yes while she is not everyone's cup of tea, I do I think many could agreee that she (appears) to be a good and caring person who really loves her family and her newest job(s) at Q.

Everything I read about Tarte is that they are in a very strong financial position. And their concealer is the number one brand.
Both Facebook and YouTube have many misleading videos.

I just bought three of (formerly) Mally’s shadow sticks off Poshmark, thanks to all these comments! This forum can be so helpful if you look past all the complaining. (Complaining is fine, too! I’m only saying I appreciate the helpful comments.)

@beach-mom BINGO, great point and I have considered her that for awhile now. It's like you mine as well add her photo to the QVC Meet The Hosts page. I don't know what they are waiting for. She is as much a host, as Kristene Zell, Cathy Pedrayes, Mary Nelson, Courtney Webb, and many more I am forgetting to name. Sad but true point here, but Mally practically is getting more air time on QVC than some of the actual hosts that are on QVC2 primarily.

It's basically time to put her on the Meet The Hosts page, as very very very difficult that is for me to say. I can't stand the shrilllly screetch voice and the antics and games she does on air. Def NOT my cup of tea and I know majority here can't stand her from all the complaints I've read on Qtalk forum over the past months and years. She is absolutely a parttime QVC host, great point you made there.

@charsha - Evercolor was one of Mally's names for the eye shadow sticks. I have quite a few of them. Like some others, I used them every day and I have quite a stockpile.

I got a wonderful set of 6 from Kohl's, back when they used to sell Mally's brand. They last forever.

@LisaMofSLC - They're still available on Amazon and probably some other places. Just not on QVC anymore.
