      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is anyone else having problems getting immediate refunds from QVC?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On Monday I returned a pair of sneakers and on Tuesday I contacted Live Chat to ask for a refund as I always do and was told they can't issue refund as package has not been scanned. (According to UPS tracking info, it was showing as processed and traveling to another state so it was definitely scanned.)&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yesterday I contacted them again as package showed they recieved it and was told that the "backoffice will issue refund in 3-12 days" and the agent said she couldn't issue a refund and gave no explanation as to why.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today I contacted them again and was told that it would take anywhere from 10-30 days or more for refund to be posted and again, no reason given why they couldn't refund immediately.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems every time I speak to someone, I get a different comment than previous ones.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also contacted Social Team twice and it's been 3 days and they haven't responded to either email.&amp;nbsp; I've been a long time customer of QVC and I don't return items that often but the few times that I have, CS would issue an immediate refund. This is the first time that I have gotten the run-around and I don't know why they are not issuing refunds as they have done before and nor are they saying if this is thier new policy now.&amp;nbsp;So I'm wondering if anyone here is having the same issue this week with returns because it seems this new policy started this week.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Even if item is worn, the whole point I was making (and asking) is that QVC up to this week (at least in my case) would issue refunds once carrier has scanned package but they are now saying that they can't do so and that warehouse has to recieve and process refund direct which could take a month or two.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I asked if anyone else had the same experience this week because QVC seems to be moving away from issuing immediate refunds.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="verdana,geneva" size="3"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Never had QVC refund me until they received and processed the item&lt;/STRONG&gt;, presumably inspecting it to make sure all parts were present and the item was not damaged. That seems fair, imo.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="verdana,geneva" size="3"&gt;Think about it from the retailer's perspective. What if the item you sent got mixed up with another retailer's return when you were packing them up and what QVC receives isn't something they sell? Or what if there are people with really bad intentions who game the system and try to get refunds like you did before the merchandise arrives, and QVC receives...and empty box? Their stance exists for a reason -- probably some bad apples ruining it for others.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="verdana,geneva" size="3"&gt;Follow the order via tracking. When it is received at their warehouse, then call and ask if you can please get your refund issued. Easy enough and fair to both sides.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In fact, read the many forums on returns.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;One of the reasons I shop with QVC is because of their easy and hassle free return policy and quick refunds.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5"&gt;I have been making returns for 30 plus years, and the Q has never given me a refund until the item has been scanned at the warehouse as a return. It can take up to a couple of weeks easy sometimes longer. I usually get a notice and that is that. I have never had a problem with a return ever with the Q.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For years I would mail QVC Easy Returns with my return info, get an email back and be told that my refund had been processed. &amp;nbsp;Lately though I stopped doing this because as soon as QVC gets notified by the shipper that your return was processed they were issuing the refund. &amp;nbsp;Have thay stopped doing this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Then it takes another 2 weeks before one's credit card is sent a credit&amp;nbsp; for the return or exchange that was not fulfilled . This has been my experience for&amp;nbsp; several years,&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Atleast&amp;nbsp; 2&amp;nbsp;occasions my refund was never&amp;nbsp;issued by QVC and they kept&amp;nbsp; charging me VP&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;until I&amp;nbsp;contacted the Social&amp;nbsp;Team.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Good Luck on your return&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;In my probably thousands of Q purchases and maybe 100 restores, I have never had a refund issues to my Q Card instantly when UPS scans something. &amp;nbsp;Not once. &amp;nbsp;Never.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Amazon, yes because I bring it to Whole Foods and use the self service kiosk, but even that takes an hour. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

However, after many, many calls to CS, I finally learned that the reason they did not immediately issue me a refund is because QVC has a policy where any item that they sell that you are injured by, they have to have their team of Health &amp;amp; Safety contact you within 3 business days to discuss the injury and issue you a full refund. I never got a call from them until a little while ago.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did not know this policy and none of the CS team mentioned it in any of my calls. Anyway, the "injury" is based on that the sneakers I bought had something imbedded in the toe area where it was scratching my skin. Hence why I returned them.&amp;nbsp;Who knew!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By the way, Thank YOU for confirming that QVC has had a policy for YEARS where they issue immediate refunds on returns once carrier scaned package. I thought I dreamed this practice in all the years I have returned orders back to them. LOL. It seems a lot of folks are not aware of this even though it has been discussed and mentioned here on many posts ad nauseam.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
