Jill Bauer is closing her Just Jill shop at the end of January

So its official Jill Bauer is closing her Just Jill Shop at end of January. She said basically that she has other opportunities that require her time and other conflicts with what the shop needs from me. She said she needs more employees, a warehouse and needs to be committed a 100 percent. To be honest thd Jill Just Shop unfortunately didnt feel like something Jill was that committed too. The website was kind of amateurish and it felt very much on the fly. She never felt fully committed to it imo and was working QVC as a Jai rep. Compare that to LR who literally built her business in a way that became huge with a big warehouse, a number of employees and a gorgeous website. I wish Jill the best but it payed in comparison to LRs.

After a lot of consideration, I've decided to retire the Just Jill Shop. In many ways, the decision was easy—Bernadette told me she'd give me 4 years when we started this adventure, and it's been almost 6! I also have other opportunities that require my time and attention and that often conflicts with what the Shop needs from me. We're at a crossroads... in order to continue our growth, we need a warehouse, more employees, and I need to be committed 100%.

But that's not what I want to do or take on. So, we're going out on top, closing because we want to, not because we have to. The Shop will officially close on January 31, 2026.

That doesn't mean Just Jill is going away. In fact, what I've realized is what I've kind of always known... that I love being home, sharing recipes, tips, and products with all of you. And I miss it! My goal in 2026 is to get back to where we started, by reinvigorating justjill . com with more new content around food, decorating and my favorite finds. This is where I feel my creativity is at its best and what fills my heart with the most joy.
Thank you for all of your support for the shop side of Just Jill. It’s been an incredible ride!

She has one candle scent that is really nice. It is her take on Amazing Grace. I'm going to check if they are still available and order more.

It seems like her business partner wanted out of the business. To me Jill never seemed that much into it. Like it was a hobby and she didnt give it her full attention. Not sure if it was generating that much revenue if she was still being a rep at QVC. Lisa said every day her business required almost every hour from her and time.

I did see this on her FB page. I occasionally watched her live shows and she had some beautiful things. I did order a few things. Shipping was always free.

I didn't know she had a shop.

They probably weren't making enough money to make it worthwhile -- even though she claims that isn't the case.

I agree @Daisy Sunflower . If the shop was a money maker, she wouldn't be shutting it down.

I agree. She also does a good job presenting JAI. I saw her earlier this week with Courtney and wanted to order but didn't.

Its two things that Jill was giving most of the responsibilities to her partner and wasn't fully invested. It always felt like a hobby on the fly kind of business. It was never at the scope of LRs business. LR had a team of employees working for her and had to sell her home to buy the farm to facilitate expansion. Lisa said she had to eat live and breath her business. She knew once she got married she had to let it go as it consumed all her time. Jill just never seemed much into it. Some of the products were cute but again u have to put every minute into it. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Jill didnt return to QVC as a host. I think that feels like home to her. She does Jai but I could honestly see her returning as a host

I couldn't either and still don't care for her act. I think, though, she's now got a gig she likes, a familiar setting, part time and hawking only jewelry.

It always felt like a hobby she enjoyed doing when she had time. I did like that she had products that she like on QVC like the soap rocks and Breyers. Other than that it was a little dull.

I will say this I thought her candles and home products were cute. She seemed to have the best sales of her home products. I remember her having a girl named Megan who helped her as well but didnt hear about her anymore. I think she had others more interested in it then her. It just felt very much this is a hobby and whatever comes of it. She didnt want to put the work to really run a biz. I don't think it did that well because of it.

Jill was always well prepared, a no nonsense host. I appreciate that about her. A good brand ambassador for the same reason.

@Caaareful Shopper @Krimpette - LOL, you two beat me to it! I was going to post "How did I know this thread would be about LR?" It's always about LR and how brilliant, talented, clever she is. No one else compares.

I think Sinead O'Connor sang a song about LR: "Nothing Compares to U".

(Clever though, putting another former host's name in the title, so we'd think it was about someone else.)
