Purchasing an item to send to someone else

I purchased an item to send to my friends. There wasn't any box to check

to include a gift card or other means to let them know I sent it. Has anyone

ever done this. Does QVC include a label that says, Hey, Klem Kadiddlehopper,

sent you a present. Would like to know that my friends are aware of who sent

it. Thanks for your help.

I wondered the same thing recently - wanted to send bagels to my brother - they used to have a bill to send to option - something like that - but didn't see it.

Couldn't edit or delete my first reply - in your cart there's a box for "gift" - when you check it a message box pops up with to and from and a message.

I still haven't figured out how to put the recipient's shipping address in.

@Largoman Yes, they do have a gift card option. I believe it's on the first screen when you begin your order. To be honest, I often have to hunt for it and sometimes need to start my order over so that I can find it. Not sure if it's just me or if it's a poor design. My other complaint is the very limited number of characters they allow on the gift message. But happy that the gift I sent did arrive this week to my friends so it does work.

Where you have your Shipping Info there is an Edit button to add other addresses to your account.

I have a couple pages of addresses in there I can default to at anytime.

@FranandZoe I have the recipient's name and address in my address book and click on that as the ship to when I first start my order. I don't like that I did not see a confirmation of this address as the ship to when I completed checkout. Again, maybe I just didn't see where it was but it made me uncomfortable when I ordered a gift recently. But it did arrive so guess it worked.

I've been sending gifts for years and it used to be a more straight forward process but changes to their system have made everything worse!

Click on the ARROW to the right of your address to ADD another address. 😉

I placed an order today and did see that option but thought it was to order a QVC gift card. Fortunately the person it it going to will know it is from me.

When they send you an email
about the order you placed it will show the recipients address. 😃

When the gift box is checked they will not send the invoice showing what you paid.

It turns out I was half right. I just went in and tried again and the "add gift card" was asking me if I wanted to pay with a gift card.

When you add an item to your cart

Below the item on the left hand side it says GIFT

When you click on it you will see where they want you to add your personal note.

@Largoman. It's my understanding that there is no gift card. There's something on the outside label that mentions the sender.

Didn't realize I had to scroll down to choose it. I thought it was on the check out where you change the address.

QVC is going to think I'm nuts for ordering 3 times and cancelling 2 of them. Hope they only charge me for 1.

At this time of year, Q should be promoting Bill to, Ship to and making it easy. I suspect sales have been lost when a person gets confused, can't find where to include a message and just gives up.

No worries …They won’t charge you for the ones you canceled.

But I notice this afternoon you have to be sure of what you order, because I placed an order and within. 6 minutes it said, Preparing Your Order. Yay !!!

Which is Amazingly Fast and I’m thrilled that it will arrive in time for Christmas !! 🎄
