Is it me. I am so OVER OPRAH and I don't care about HER FAVORITE THINGS..There was a time when I thought she was great..BUT times have changed I don't feel that way anymore and I really don't think that she is relevant anymore. Buy an Item if you really want it but not because OPRAH LOVES IT.AM I ALONE IN THIS THINKING?

I always enjoy looking through the list. It doesn't mean I'm compelled to purchase anything, but it's interesting to see what's popular in various categories.

She's just a business person running a business that has clearly experienced some success. Always has been. Nothing wrong with that. I choose to ignore her....as she's just no longer my cup of tea.

I've never liked her or followed anything about her. I am so over passing headlines about her weight and figure issues. I never read or look at those articles but am so annoyed at having them in my face repeatedly.

Many of us have out own weight and health issues, myself included. I don't need to hear about Oprah Winfrey's. If she truly was a smart woman, she'd just go about her own business. I've always thought that those that have 'it' don't need to flash their opinions to everyone all the time.

My opinion.

I would bet she gets her "favorite things" for nothing..Or maybe she gets paid by a company for saying it's her "favorite"Just by her saying something..it makes some feel they have to have it! NOT ME!

So much negativity. No one needs to lecture me about what I should buy. My energy is spent on more pressing matters during what has been a challenging year in many ways for me.

I loved Oprah back in the day, when she was someone everyone could relate to. She was so down to earth. She made everyone feel like we were in the same boat, sharing similar challengers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for her success, but it brought out a side of her that reeks of a private club. The problem is, most of us don't feel invited. I can no longer relate to her wealth and power and the way she displays it. Her favorite list is hard to take for most, being generally outside the typical home budget.

I'm proud of her for her charitable donations though. And, she does take good care of her friends. So, the Oprah of the past is still there in some ways, but not enough for me to be a fan any longer.

@San Antonio Gal I agree! What's the harm if one wants to peek at what people like. What I am so over, if people who complain about other women doing what they do. I can't tell you the celebs and lists I avoid. No one forces us to do anything, unless of course it was my mom. lol. God rest her soul. Lol

@Alexa6352 I could have written your post! I feel exactly the same way. Once upon a time I used to watch Oprah regularly and even wished I could attend one of her shows. My, how times have changed!

I had to laugh to myself yesterday when they were talking about a perfume that was one of Oprah's favorites. I thought to myself I really don't care if she likes it or not!
